TJ Ford Appreciation Thread

He's going to San Antonio. I hope he drops 30 and 10 per game, just not against us.

Let the hate begin. 8-)

I appreciate that he handled a difficult situation well. I certainly don't hate him. It wasn't his fault he ended up being "collateral damage" for dumping Jermaine O'Neal's albatross contract. But I am very glad the Pacers have finally outlasted all the baggage they were lugging since the Artest-era team imploded...baggage that included paying T.J. Ford $8 million to sit on the bench. Look forward, not back!

haha

I remember how happy I was that TJ Ford was being traded to the Pacers. I really liked his game in Texas, and thought he was a very solid player prior to his injury. I also thought he was a good Pacer, yes, he took some wild shots but in reality we had bad teams, somebody had to take those shots. All in all, i really think Jim O'Brien misused him and but he did handle the situation pretty well. I wish him luck with the Spurs.

I really hope TJ does well with the Spurs.
He will certainly be in a competitive environment and be backing up Parker and have a chance at winning a ring (although perhaps a slight chance only)

I wish him all the best

He's a good continuity backup for Tony Parker. Pop knows how to use small, penetrating guards unlike Obie.

I appreciate that TJ is not a Pacer any more. For $1.6-$2 million per year I'd be ok with him but not at $8 million per.

Good to see that he's going to have a chance to play for a contender.

TJ will thrive in San Antonio. He just didn't fit in well enough for Obie.
