Holy ****! Another good roster move!

I'm not sure what I think of Mayo. I'm worried he's an incurable knucklehead, but what the hell, he's very talented and the Pacers aren't risking much of anything here. McRoberts and Rush are spare parts, and Mayo's contract is short and they can ship him out soon enough if he doesn't work out.

Wooo!!! This is the most excited I've been about the Pacers in many years.

Here is hoping that OJ Mayo lives up to his potential! Nice move TBD but I'm nominating Larry Legend for the Exec of the year!!

I don't know what to make of Mayo either but I want this deal to get done. Is it official? I can't find confirmation anywhere. Nice little offseason by us. Whoever lands Paul or Howard can claim to have had a better offseason, but I think that's it.

I'll wait for another source to confirm, but regardless seems like it will happen. Happy days!

Mayo is a good shooter, and a decent defender. He'll bring more will to the party than Rush as well. Seriously excited.

According to Mike Wells' Twitter, McBob's agent is denying it. Could be typical agent talk though.

McRoberts was probably excited about the prospect of playing with the Grizzlies until he realized he'd still have to hang out around Brandon Rush.

Rush starred in McRoberts' "White Men Can't Jump" video. I assumed that they've been shopping a screenplay together and working on some kind of buddy comedy. I think if he backed out it must be because the Griz are refusing to take Rush.

Seriously, guys, can we at least wait until this is a sure thing before we start clapping and cheering? I mean, we have kind of jumped the gun on a Mayo-trade-celebration before... and that sure fell through.

So let's just wait a second until it's official... ok?

Ah, what the hell, assuming it happens, what a great offseason for the Pacers (and we're not even done yet! We amnestied Posey, so obv we might be using even more of that cap space).

He's actually become a very streaky shooter with questionable shot selection and bad defense. Which is the reason why he was benched last year and the Grizzlies proved to benefit in doing so. Hopefully a change of scenery is exactly what he needs to excel. The starting five looks legit on paper, can't wait to see how it turns out.

I think amnesting Posey means we've used space rather than we're freeing it. sounds backwards but there is a minimum salary and until we signed West we might have needed Posey's salary to avoid being too low. now that we've added some contracts, we can dump one.

I should clarify. Yeah, he is streaky, but his 3-point percentage for his first two years was nice, and he can hit free throws. I hope he gets back on track because he CAN be a good shooter (fundamentals are there).
