Love the trade. Rush for Amundson straight-up. Low-risk and low-cost to the Pacers as well as finally being able to get rid of that migraine we've had the past few years.

Amundson:

Reminds me of Scot Pollard....

I always hated when we played Lou he always seemed to kill us. Hopefully we can be a Jeff Fosteresque player.

This trade also points to the signing of Micheal Redd.

Amundson is a very solid player from what i saw him with Phoenix few years ago. Scrappy, gets to the board, is physical. I hope he can be a excellent defender for us coming off the bench and he can score, from anywhere on the floor if you leave him open. That, and i never liked Brandon Rush. Solid, low risk trade.

Brandon will probably like the fact marijuanna gets cheaper the closer you get to the Mexican border. He could save thousands of dollars.

I was thinking we'd be making a deal or 2 still. Are we at the Minimum payroll yet. Look for Pacers to sign Redd if this deal goes thru. We have a lot of cap space still but there is not much left out there to bid on.

Amundson had a tough season last year with GSW. He spent most of the season dealing with back spasm issues. When he was on the court he wasn't very effective but then again the W's had a coach that didn't know how to use PFs or centers properly on offense and defense. I hope he gets healthy and has a good season for you guys.

Good trade for the Pacers. They didn't need Rush anyways.

Suns fan, I had the pleasure of watching Lou play with the Suns a couple of years ago. You guys are gonna love him! He's pure hustle and if he had a consistent shot, he would be an border line all star IMO

I always thought of him as a Varejao lite, so this is a good player to have come off the bench for us, I like our big man rotation of Roy/West/Tyler/Lou.

Rush really needed a change of scenery, and Amundson should be a useful role player off the bench for us in our frontcourt.

Who is going to play backup center when Foster gets hurt. West and Tyler are going to have to play together some. Now we are thin at the wing , unless Stephenson is getting 30 minutes a night.

Granger
George
Hill
Jones
Stephenson
Whoever the Pacers add to fill out the roster (Redd?)

That's plenty of wing players.

Whoever called Amundson "Varejao lite," that's what I see too. If he is healthy, I think we will like having him on the team.

Backup center is a bit of a concern though--Foster needs to stay healthy. Amundson probably becomes the de facto third-string center, and I think he can play there in short stretches. The team is also considering giving West some time at center according to the Indy Star.

I see you all got Lou. We loved him here and Phoenix and wish we had him. He is total professional and a very hard working player. He does not fill up the stat sheet but has a way of changing the game without doing so. He is an absolute dirt worker and all hustle. Those who really know basketball are going to love him. . . if he stays healthy.

I think we'll be fine at the wing with PG, G Hilland backing them up will be Dahntay and Lance

Mexico? We get our marijuana from the Emerald Triangle upstate. It'll be cheaper AND better.
