Game 16: Pacers vs Magic 01/24/12, 7:00 EST
Pretty important game. Dwight Howard vs. Roy Hibbert will be the matchup to watch. We actually have a lot of advantages in the rest of the lineup tonight.

I really want Roy to say, 'hello Clarice" in a post-game interview.
Hot start for Orlando. You knew they would come out firing after getting shalacked by Boston last night.
Bad foul by Roy. He's gotta stay in the game so that the rest of our bigs don't have to deal with Dwight Howard.
Nice and-1 by Collison!

Is Roy wearing THE MASK? He's come out firing on all cylinders so far. Being aggressive and getting to the line, hustling for rebounds, making some nice passes, and even sold Howard's second foul by maaaaybe flopping.

Wow. Did my eyes deceive me or did a defender just bite on a Lou Amundson pump fake?

Dang, wanted Stephenson to hit that wide open three. I really hope he becomes a good shooter and that would have been good time to hit his first career NBA three. Guess not lol. Maybe in time, maybe in time... I hope so.

I can't decide if Hansbrough being a ballhog is good or bad. On a lot of nights it seems like a good thing but it seems to bite us lately. He just got stuffed and went for an easy bucket the other way. I was amazed when he passed to Hibbert earlier. My jaw dropped

David West must be a different person off the court. Heard all of this stuff about him being a respected player around the NBA and a good leader. He just seems mean on the court though lol. He always seems like he's pissed off and wants to fight. He's a bad man. Can't wait to see how he is playing midway through the season. I have a feeling he'll play even better than he has been and he's been playing really well.

Re: Game 16: Pacers vs Magic 01/24/12, 7:00 EST
^^^ I see West as a less obnoxious version of Kevin Garnett (on the court, that is.)
I live in the Twin Cities now, and I have heard nothing but good things about KG as a person. But on the court, he rarely doesn't have some sort of "mean mug" on his face while he plays. Thankfully, West doesn't talk as much trash on the court (or if he does, it's subtle) and he's not as loud and obnoxious.
And, yes, agreed. West is still shaking off a summer following a season-ending surgery in a new environment, combined with the lockout where he wasn't able to get NBA-level rehab. Now 15 games in, he seems to be getting ,more and more comfortable as he's put together a nice string of solid games here recently.

I appreciate Paul George playing unselfish, but he still needs to be more aggressive. He's passed up some nice opportunities so far tonight.

Re: Game 16: Pacers vs Magic 01/24/12, 7:00 EST
Yeah, George needs to be taking more than 2 shots a half, that's for sure.
Granger was playing awesome too and then just stopped shooting as the lead evaporated.
Sometimes this team is too unselfish. The players that know they're hot just need to assume the role of Tyler Hansbrough and not pass when they get the ball lol. I literally crack up sometimes just because the ball will be passed to him and you think to yourself "Yep, someone will have to get an offensive rebound if they want to touch the ball again on this possession". The guy is a blackhole. Again, it's either a good thing or a bad thing. Rarely is it in between. Either he is drawing fouls and putting points on the board or he's a brick house that throws away possessions. For the most part I like what he does but it can be frustrating when he's not getting the calls/making baskets and he still refuses to pass when he gets the ball. Sometimes it's just not your night but I guess he just has a winners mentality that makes him believe he'll turn it around. I hope so anyways because sometimes it just seems selfish. I don't believe that's the case but it's a form of selfishness I suppose.
Also... really disappointed. Pretty horrible that we're not up with Howard leaving at 11:30 in the 2nd quarter. Thought we'd be up 15. Maybe 20. Idk what to think. Just as long as we have 1 more point on the scoreboard when the game ends, I don't care. Just thought we should be up by a decent margin though.

Come on, call a timeout! Roy is beat and we're deflated and frustrated.

Pretty pathetic 3rd quarter. Lucky Redick missed that wide open 3. Need to hang in here the final minute because a couple of makes for the Magic and a couple misses for the Pacers puts this game in the danger zone. Can't believe Howard hasn't picked up a single foul in the 4th quarter. Definitely calling b.s. on that ha

Son of a... lucky ass shot.
Wasn't going to but might as well go ahead and chug a couple beers during the 4th quarter.
In celebration of the win of course.

Nice, Dahntay!
Still plenty of time to make a little bit of a run. This is our energy lineup of Hill, Hans, Lou, and Dahntay. Plus, PG is still out there. Tucker the Magic out and cut this lead in half, then let our starters carry us in the home stretch.

They really were but didn't even end up with a shot attempt. smh
I wish we could make those plays after making a shot instead of not getting a shot all lol
