Just seen on NBA TV that they are reporting George Hill out but don't know how long with a chip fracture in ankle. I guess this will be time for Lance to show what he has.

That's a very unfortunate injury. It means surgery in my experience, because there's a piece of bone floating around that ankle.

I think I saw him shove Petro into Hill.

Dang. That's a blow we didn't need. Guess that means more Stephenson and Jones. Now would be a good time to have gotten Mayo. Maybe we can sign JR Smith when he comes back. Doubt we want Ellis's salary and probably don't have enough we'd be willing to trade for Curry. I don't know that I trust Stephenson and Jones with no real jump shooter on the bench. Hill could shoot, those two cannot. Will be a brick fest if they're shooting 3's.

This can truly hurt us. Hill has been vital off the bench. The show must go on, and not tough for Hill but it gives oppertunity to others. Price and Stephenson will show up exactly what they have.

No, I'm curious to see what Stephenson is going to do what all those minutes.

Stephenson could blossom in plenty of minutes, i am very optimistic about Lance. I just hope Hill's not done for the season, he'll be very vital come playoff time as a defensive specialist.

Bad news, our defense was better and Hill was a reason

Lance looked good last night (Nets game on 1/31/12). I thought we'd need to go to AJ when Hill went down but Lance more than held his own.

Anybody knows how much time he'll miss?

It depends on if it needs surgery or not to remove the bone or just a cast. At least a week in my estimation.

I googled bone chip ankle and it's bad, like 8-12 weeks bad, longer if it has caused structural damage.

During the game, they said now it's a sprain.

I read that Vogel is going to change the rotation. Price will back up Collison and Stephenson will back up George. It will be interesting to see how that works out.
