Yes, I think we pretty much match any offer thrown his way. He is an integral part of our team and I, personally, would be devastated to see him go.

We will max pretty much any offer, even max if we have to. Roy is our most important player, and we're currently a very good team. Plus he's a fan favorite and becoming the face of the Franchise.

Roy Hibbert is going to be a Pacer for a very long time, he loves it here, we love him here, he loves his coach, we have the cash. End of Story.

Think of it this way, we payed David West at 31/32 years old ten million per year coming off of major knee surgery.

How can anyone seriously think we wouldn't go 13-14 million for a 25 year old all-star caliber center who still has room to improve even more?

With the way he's played this season, and the premium placed on big men, particularly centers, I think we'd match that offer.

For comparison's sake, here's what other All-Star caliber big men have received in recent years:

Marc Gasol: $14.5M (4/$58M) after his 12/7/3 2010-11 season.
Al Horford: $12M (5/$60M) after his 14/10/2 2009-10 season.
Joakim Noah: $12M (5/$60M) after his 11/11/2 2009-10 season
LaMarcus Aldridge: $13M (5/$65M) after his 18/8/2 2008-09 season.
Andrew Bogut: $12.6M (6/$76M) after his 14/10/3 2007-08 season.
Andrew Bynum: $14.5M (4/$58M) after his 13/10/2 2007-08 season.

$13-14M per would be about par-for-the-course, so I see no reason why Indy wouldn't match, assuming Hibbert's play doesn't drop-off.

If Hibbert keeps playing like he has been playing, $13-14 million is a bargain.

I think he is could get $15 million or more...if he keeps playing like he has been playing.

I agree with what has all ready been said. The Pacers will match just about any offer and keep Hibbert. By matching the Hibbert offer may mean that Hill does not get resigned.

Don't think that's possible under the new CBA.

I stand corrected on my $15 million statement.

My research indicates that the maximum salary a player with 6 or lesser years of experience receives is 25% of the total salary cap. The current salary cap is $57.7 million. So it appears the most Hibbert could get would be $14.425 million per year.

He's likely got to get that max contract.

There will be a few teams hoping for Dwight and when they strike out Hibbert is the best of what's left. No question he'll get a max offer sheet from some team out there and from the looks of things he'd probably be worth every penny.

Realgm reported yesterday his deal might average 11/per. I am hopeful that he will settle for a little less in order for us to stay competitive.

We can draft well again, spend the money on Hibbert, and still have a decent amount left over and be better than we are this season just on the merit of younger guys getting a consistent season of growth.

$11 per WOULD be a little less.

No matter what, though, I'm thinking we'll be ok. Worse case scenario, we have to move Granger in a year or two to clear some salary to stay out of the luxury tax, but otherwise, we're fine. We've got a lot of options we can pickup or decline, or moves we could make. We'll be ok.
