Re: George Hill to return soon.
George Hill has missed the last three games due to a small chip fracture in his left ankle. His ankle is healing nicely and Saturday he wore a shoe instead of a walking boot.
Hill says the fracture is not that bad and he is hoping to return prior to All-Star weekend later this month.
"It's only a partial chip instead of it being fully chipped. They say my return is looking pretty good," Hill tells The Indianapolis Star. "I'm planning on it. I have to continue to do the rehab they've got me doing and things like that."
A.J. Price will continue to get extended minutes until Hill returns to the lineup.

I really hope it's something "playable". Tough kid though.

If he needs after the All-Star break, that's fine with me. We'll be powering through the rest of the season very quickly, and our late-season schedule can help us build momentum into the playoffs, which is more important to me than rushing back when we have a lot of home games in the middle of the schedule.

Great news!
So, this isn't something that will get worse by playing on it, will it? You'd hate to see a minor fracture become a full blown fracture if that's possible. I don't know a lot about running around on fractures but just the sound of it doesn't sound the safest. Just hoping it isn't something that could get worse.
