I love the pacers a lot but their unmotivated attitude is making me sick.

There is definitely an effort issue. Injuries don't help. Too much hoping something works instead of making something work.

The botched rebound sums it up for this losing streak. Trying to do too much that the basic things are being forgotten. This is a regression to the mean, so between now and the all-star break it might be more of the same until Granger and Hill get back properly.

Anyone else find George's play troubling? Collison seems to be a lightning rod, but George hasn't had a good shooting game this entire time.

I don't like the rotations, it seems like they are set in stone, allowing players to relax. Vogel needs to start holding players accountable by way of distributing minutes based off of productivity.

Like Collison being the unquestioned floor general, per Vogel. He is not concerned one bit about his job, he has it in the bag. I'm not saying to not start him, but his minutes should reflect his effectiveness. If he falters yank him early in the 1st, or don't let him finish out games. Of course the amount of playing time he receives is unconditional. Condition the minutes and play will improve.

I want a player on the court that leads and makes sacrifices for the betterment of the team. Someone who pulls the team together.

We need to hit the blocks early, but I'd have one stipulation. It seems whoever gets it in the post always forces it no matter what. Basically if anyone is double teamed he should be forced to kick it out, preferably with 8-9 seconds on the shot-clock.

Sometimes Hibbert gets triple-teamed, with guys draping from him while his team stands around chillin', and he forces bad-shots. If he kicked it out sooner they could swing it and he could potentially clean up the backside with easy putbacks.

It boils down to trust. Everybody is trying to be somebody, and it makes watching basketball, like watching a horror show.

I disagree. Consistent rotations hasn't change motivation. It was one of the positive changes from last season, in my opinion. This doesn't look like a lazy team, it looks like a lost and tired team to me. A lot of breaks are going our way, and people aren't keeping the fundamentals in defense and rebounding solid. The way our team is set up, there is no magical floor leader type guy. Closest things to it were both out tonight, in my opinion. When things falter, usually Granger in the first unit or Hill in the second unit can get things back together.

Passing could've been better. We took care of the ball, but didn't move it well at all. Out of sync on cuts and swings and a lot of botched picks.

It takes patience, but the best coaches of young teams have historically allowed their players to play through their mistakes to gain valuable experience without shattering their already fragile confidence. I don't suggest coddling, but there's something to be said for Vogel's trust in his players. That can translate to trust on the floor.

Our great start of 17-7 has kinda turned to crap all of the sudden. Injuries don't help at all with Danny and Hill out but still we should beat the crap out of these guys. I'm thikning West might not be here next season since his short contract makes him an expiring will we see some big moves this summer. I'd say.
