Could be an awful game to watch. Both teams coming off back-to-backs. I feel we're fresher.

The starters didn't play that much. It's typically a weak excuse. It's even weaker after the blowout last night.

I love what Hansbrough does in his minutes. He's a limited player, but he plays his butt off and gets to the line.

Really liking George Hill. He's not the most efficient scorer, but can heat up. I don't care who starts, but I really think that whoever comes off the bench has to bring scoring.

I really think that George Hill gives the starters an extra something
especially with his defense
i really starting to think he should be the starter..
and i'm loving Danny's game to start and finish.
He has been so good in the 4th

The longer this streak goes the tougher it will be to take George Hill out of the starting lineup. I just hope Collison can quickly adapt to coming off the bench.

I like how people are talking about Boston's championship chances and not ours.

Let them. We're doing ok with no one talking about us.

I also like George Hill as the starter. He just has such a balanced impact on the lineup, and especially in the playoffs. He's been there before and should be great in pressure.

You serious? Danny is still on the team? smh

:D

Love Granger. I knew he'd come back to carry this team at the end of the season. Dude is ready to go for the playoffs.

and I think DC will play better with the second unit as that unit will run with him. I don't want to get back into a debate about who is best. I don't think you have to start your best five in any event. I'm just coming to think they are each a better fit with a different unit.

Especially because we have Barbosa to fill Hill's shoes. Before, if you replace Collison for Barbosa, who plays SG then? Stephenson? We like to put the entire bench on the floor and Dahntay is like the only back we have to play SF behind Granger.

I had pretty much written off the claim of Granger being the 3rd best small forward in the league. Now I think the claim has merit again. Taking a read of the Philly board and the comments are plentiful in support of Granger over AI. If Danny proves to be a go to scorer in these playoffs we could move beyond the second round.

James, Durant, and....Melo...ugh....

He's probably next, though. I wouldn't put Luol, Smoove, Pierce, Rudy, or Iggy ahead of him. For the season he's not that good, but the way he's playing now is great.

You can make an argument Granger is among the top 5 SFs in the league right now.
LBJ, Durant, Melo, Pierce are better
5th spot goes to either Granger, Iggy, Deng

Forgot Durrant. But, lately Granger has probably been pretty close to the rest.

I got a kick out of reading the Sixer forum version of this game thread. they had 14 pages and were complaining about it being small. of course their city's population is many times ours. but there was not much they weren't complaining about. they were bashing Iggy, praising Danny and complaining that they couldn't get us to throw in a first round draft choice for the privilege of dealing with them. much like many of us last year they were hoping to keep losing to get into the lottery instead of the playoffs. that did seem attractive last year but with hindsight letting everyone experience the intensity of the playoffs was worth a few slots in the draft ... and then we traded our pick anyway.
