Eric Gordon

First off Congrats on passing the first round and I wish you luck in 2nd. Second of all I know your team is still in the playoffs and you're Not thinking of the off season but im a hornets fan and we got nothing till the lottery.

That being said there's a few things im 99% sure of A. Gordon would love to go back to Indiana. B.the Pacers would love to have him.C. the hornets will match any offer for him since he's a restricted FA.

So what would the Pacers be willing to offer for Gordon? For me if the Pacers offered Paul George, Collison Hansbrough and your 1st for Gordon and Jack I'd do it.. What do you guys think?

Paul George alone is worth Eric Gordon, in my opinion, especially with Gordon's health a question mark.

I also think we're going to be looking at the PG crop first.

I wouldn't deal George for gordon. As stated already, you can't risk your player with the most potential for a player who is on the courst for 20 games a year.

I don't see EG being a great fit for this roster. D-Will...now I see a great fit.

We are not moving Paul George for Eric Gordon. If we get Eric Gordon, it's to play long-term next to Paul George, not instead of him.

The Pacers trading George for Gordon would just be plain crazy. Gordon is injured most of the time and George has tremendous potential.

The Pacers are in good shape on the wing. Granger is a good SF and George is a pretty good SG who is only going to get better. Stephenson showed a lot of potential late in the season. If he stays out of trouble and works hard, he could be a quality back up next year, if not, D. Jones is a pretty good back up wing man. The Pacers could also go for an inexpensive free agent to find some security on the wing.

The Pacers are solid at PF with West and Hansbrough.

Center is a question mark mostly because we don't know for sure if we will keep Hibbert, although I think we will. If not, we need to find a staring Center. Whether Hibbert stays or not, we will still need to find a back up.

PG is the real question. There are several ways we could go there.

What if Deron Williams said he'd sign here and we could trade for EJ in a sign&trade for PG/Collison?

Deron Williams
Eric Gordon
Danny Granger
David West
Roy Hibbert

I still probably wouldn't do it. I'm crazy like that :)

no offense, as a hornets fan i always cheer for small market teams but i really really strongly think that you have no chance of signing deron. Which is stupid considering you have 1 of the most solid teams in the league. If Deron was smart he would sign with you guys giving you the 2nd best team behind the heat in the east.

We recognize we have about 1% at best chance of signing Deron.

Steve Nash would be more likely, and even then, it's probably only 10%.
