Time to knock out some teeth

Post#1 » by jowglenn » Wed May 23, 2012 3:04 am

The wade foul in game 2 was bad enough. Shoulda been an ejection, just a flagrant 1 instead.

That haslem foul tonight? Same. Shoulda been immediate ejection. Instead, flagrant 1.

Finally, in blowout garbage time, pittman sends stephenson sprawling with a forearm to the neck, and then winks at the camera like it's cute or something.

I swear to god we better dress fesenko and have him clothesline the living hell out of lebron and wade. Hard. This dirty heat squad has dug there own grave and deserve whatever they get.

If the refs wont protect our players we need to do it ourselves.

There will be repercussions for Haslem and Pittman. We need to take care of basketball business. I do not actually advocate equal retaliation. However, if we assertively regain the physical edge in the series I would not complain.

I think it'll feel better to win the series instead of fighting the heat.

We need to worry about Game 6, Wrestlemania can come if we get a big lead.

I'd like to specify that when I said repercussions, I meant from the league.

one reason indy finds itself in the position it's in is not keeping it's mind ON BUSINESS. that is playing ball. beginning of game4 i thought they were locked in and ready to win, confident, calm, smooth execution,,,, but as the game progressed they lost their cool and perspective on what's important. kerr said it best just before today's half when he said indy was not executing - the same could be said for most of game4. so if you're gonna knock out some teeth, go one better and put miami in the hospital, and do boston a big favor.

Well, first off, I don't think Lebron deserves any retaliation. He's not a dirty player and hasn't committed any cheap fouls or dirty plays.

Here's my analysis on the hard fouls in Game 5:

1. Hansbrough on Wade. I watched this 10 times. Hansbrough was making a basketball play, he was not trying to foul Wade. What happened was that Wade raised the ball for a layup, Hansbrough went for the block, Wade saw Hansbrough's arm coming down, so Wade pulled the ball down for a double pump. Hansbrough still blocked the ball first, but his follow through hit Wade's head. If Wade hadn't pulled the ball back down, it would have been a clean block no foul. This was no worse than a flagrant 1.

2. Haslem on Hansbrough. This was obviously a retaliation for the previous foul. Haslem wasn't even going for the ball. Hansbrough was shooting with his right hand, and Haslem smacked his hands into Hansbrough's face. This deserves a suspension.

3. Pittman on Stephenson. Complete bush league play. Intentional elbow to the head/neck area. Deserves a multiple game suspension. And for what? All Stephenson did was a choke sign, which is as harmful as trash talk. You're so mentally weak that you have to resort to injuring an opponent for trash talk? Just go out and beat the other team by 30 pts (as Miami did), don't throw cheap shots.

In Wade's postgame interview, he called Hansbrough's foul on him unnecessary. Seriously? Could you be any more hypocritical? You laid a Ronnie Lott hit to the back of a defenseless Collison. You broke Kobe Bryant's nose and gave him a concussion in the *all star game*. Hansbrough blocked your shot clean, and the only reason the follow through hit your head was because you pulled the ball down in midair. Like I mentioned previously, I was a Wade fan until this year when he turned into a petty beeotch.

Maverick fan here ...Wade and Lebron need to leave Indiana on stretchers!!! Well Wade prefers Wheelchairs.

Wades cheapshot on Collison
Haslem cheapshot on Hansbrogh
Pittmans discusting cheapshot on Stevenson
Lebrons little bitch ass pussy for trying to throw the elbows

All deserve swift and extreme punishment !! Let's go Pacers Man up and drop these 2 Doochebags !!!

What's better than the Larry Obrian Trophy? Knocking out Wade and Lebrons 2 front teeth!!

This is the way I see it ... Not that the Pacers can't come back from being down 3-2 it's just not probable because if it goes to game 7 you know the Refs are gonna gift the game to Miami just like the 2006 Finals . So be proud of yourselves for having a great season and you will be back and better next year . But now is the time for blood !!!

Exactly. At this point, I expect to win game 6 and then watch the refs gift wrap game 7 for miami.

Anyone want to wager on how many free throws miami takes in game 7? 50?

Robert Mathis already shows up to Conseco in a Pacers jersey. Maybe we should sneak him into the lineup. Guys like Pittman and Haslem would be slobbing on his knob.

Damn, we're soft. After Pittman concussed and seperated Stephenson's shoulder, there should have been a riot. Hopefully Lance has some friends in Brooklyn who will catch up with Pittman in the offseason. Throw a right hook, and bust him right in his GD mouth.

If Lance will throw his girlfriend down the steps, I can't imagine what he'd do to Pittman given the chance.

He should probably wait until his back is turned. Pittman is (I hope) a lot bigger than Lance's girlfriend and he's not afraid to fight dirty.

All of this keeps bringing to my mind:
How much are we missing Jeff Foster right now?

The offseason priorities should be:
re-sign Hill and Hibbert
find a veteran free agent backup center. Amundson is a good 5th big, but he's in over his head as the full-time backup C.

All I keep thinking is, can you IMAGINE what would happen if this series happened the exact same way, only with the JO, Artest, SJax, Tinsley, Harrington, Dale Davis, etc. Pacer team? My lord 0_0

I'm usually not much of an advocate for violence, but in this case I am. If this team plays extra physical and get into people's grills, they can take game 6 and some momentum with it. Teams with more testosterone flowing through their veins usually win games, getting edgy and aggressive is one way to raise that testosterone

Meh, we lost a game. People are making it out like the Pacers got punked or that Miami got really physical with them but other than the Dexter Pittman shot to Lance this game wasn't different than any other. The Pacers got beat on the boards all game and didn't exploit their interior advantage the way that they did in games 2 and 3. The best response to the flagrant fouls is to win. Win the battle on the glass, win the battle in the paint, win the game.

For those Miami fans that see Pittman's foul for what it was and are calling for their heads, I hope this game is clean and nobody gets hurt. For those that defend him in ANY way, I hope Wade breaks something important.
