Pacers one of several teams pursuing Brandon Roy according to wiretap.

Indiana could have an advantage in pursuing Roy due to the presence of Kevin Pritchard, who was general manager of the Blazers when he was drafted.

I was hoping they would go after him. Hes still young. Complete player and if he is indeed healthy a game changer. A healthy Roy alone could be enough to push Indy into championship contention. The rotations would be much better than last season. And hes got the clutch gene in the words of skip bayless.

Hill/Collison
George/Roy or Stevenson/Jones
Granger/Stevenson or Roy/Jones
West/ Psycho T or Pendergraph
Hibbert/ ??? im hoping for Fab Melo

Man, if Brandon Roy was even at 40% of his original self, that would be HUGE for us.

I mean, everyone thought he was pretty much done and he still did that amazing game 4 against the Mavs last year:

And that's after everyone thought he was done.

If this german-blood-spinning thing helps him, it would be amazing to have him. This guy, at his peak, was absolutely a top 3 shooting guard in the league, along with kobe and wade.

My god, imagine it for a moment. Let's pray Pritchard has the inside line on him, and he's genuinely managed to get his health under control.

He'll never be healthy again. It's just not physically possible. He has absolutely NOTHING in his knees to cushion his two leg bones from grinding on each other. However, if he could play 15-20 minutes a night, he would be a great complement to either Granger or George on the wings.

He he can be close to the player he was, then great pick up,the same goes with Greg Oden,if we could get them cheap enough to fill two very needed bench spots,it will help this team alot.

Greg Oden will not produce anything at all this year. He is taking the year off to rehab his knee. He is recovering from another devastating knee injury. He will not be at camp for anybody this year, and will play no sooner than January, if he rushes his return.
