Mavunga Heading to Italy

Post#1 » by SuperReggie31 » Mon Aug 6, 2012 9:34 pm

I spoke with him a few days ago and he is going overseas to Italy for a year. It was confirmed by Miami of Ohio (where he played).

It'll be a great experience for him to develop his skills and play.

Wishing him nothing but the best.

Good luck, Julian :D

I wish him nothing but the best, it's just too bad he didn't stick around with the Pacers. He seemed like a guy who could develop into a good player.

Smart decision. Maybe 3 years in Europe could hone his skills just like what Gerald Green did. In that way he'll have a better chance of landing a roster spot in the NBA than accepting a small role as a team filler or a project.
