According to Coach Vogel, David West will play in these preseason games, but the coaching staff particularly wants to see Tyler Hansbrough, Jeff Pendergraph, Miles Plumlee and Ian Mahinmi compete and show where they are coming off of summer. Ultimately, these seven games serve as a tune-up for most and a competition for the final couple roster spots for others.

Preseason Tradition:

Last game the Pacers only shot 34%. Let's warm it up a little bit!:

Hopefully we see more out of Stephenson and Johnson this time around, they didn't look promising the first game.

“@JerryZgoda: Lou Amundson says he told himself not to pass the ball to any Pacers -- his team last year -- in Fargo and he didn't. "But it was weird."”

“@JerryZgoda: No word yet if Amundson is sharing any of his "tough pills" w/ new teammate Kevin Love, who coined about Indy after chippy games last year”

Awesome game by Green, that fadeaway jumper is DIRTY. Anyone know why Hibbert didnt play?

Something else I noticed in these games is that they followed the same pattern as a lot of last season's games with a mediocre 1st quarter, awful 2nd quarter where we dig ourselves a big hole, a great 3rd quarter to come back from the deficit, and then a tight 4th quarter.
