Great thread. Nice tradition (as always) and I also love that Grizzlies logo :D

This will be a big test for our team. I expect a loss but hope for the best.

PS: There seems to be a shortage of tattoed girls in the tradition. I have to do some research

You did it again. They just keep getting better and better :)

Is there a tattoo tradition? :o In all those years I have never focused on tattoos.

Randolph might not be playing tonight.

That offensive sequence to end the quarter was just awful.

Time to give Green the Augustin treatment and give his minutes to OJ

I hope so. I had high hopes of Green coming into the season, but wow, what a bust. Orlando Johnson, on the other hand, has been a pleasant surprise. Seems like we have some good luck with 2nd round picks (Orlando Johnson and Lance Stephenson).

I'm so glad about this win.

0.5 games behind the 2nd seed now. And 2 games behind the 1st 8-)

I didn't have high hopes, but I never expected him to be this bad. :-?

I also hope it will have the same effect on him as with DJ and that he comes back stronger and hopefully a lot more confident. Because he has the tools and because counting on a rookie could be tricky sometimes as the easy points OJ gave up this game have shown.

We may pass the Knicks because for the next 2 games they play the Celtics and Brooklyn, but Miami plays the Pistons, Celtics, and Raptors, so I doubt we pass them. Plus we play Denver, Utah, and Portland the next 3 games, none of which look to be easy games.

And I'm going to the Brooklyn vs. Indiana game feb. 11th. 8-)

Why do the game threads get hot after the game rather than during?

During the game, I'm busy keeping up with Skype, the game thread at PacersDigest, the GB thread and the actual game.

Plus, I sometimes eat during games

To be fair, he has been a lot worse after his ankle injury. My guess is that he is probably still bothering him.

He didn't shoot that bad before the injury.

I am really pumped about that Pacers victory. We beat a very legit playoff team on the road. We have the best defense in the league-possibly one of the best ever. Geroge Hill had too many turnovers, but he doesn't do that often. And even though Paul George wasn't shooting great he still hit a clutch shot, but 10 boards, 9 assists, and again played GREAT defensively.

Like I said in another thread, we have some of the best defenders at each position. Hibbert should definitely be a 1st-teamer and possibly DPOY as long as they don't deduct anything for his offense dipping down so far this year. Paul George is incredible and he's the guy I want in the league guarding Lebron, Durant, Kobe, etc. Hill is a speedy and very good defender as well. And of course West does his part and gets boards. With Granger coming back hopefully it only gets better. Then we have Lance to score coming off the bench.

So it sounds like Granger will be back in 2 1/2 weeks or so (a little bit before the all-star game). With the emergence of Paul George Granger could get a lot of open looks. If he can play some good D and hit some 3s and jumpers we are looking good. Hill can get to the basket (and do the pick-and-roll with West) and Paul George can easily create his own shot. We pass the ball well and are unselfish. Finding the open man when Granger gets back could really give us 2.5 points per game-maybe more since Lance has been playing pretty well and he'd be our 6th man at the 2 and hopefully at the 1 some, too.
