We better hope they play as well Sunday against the Knicks. If they don't beat the Knicks, I don't think we can catch NY even by beating them ourselves next weekend.
On a happier note, Atlanta lost and if my math is right we can do no worse than 5th and one more win or one more Bulls loss locks in 4th. Brooklyn lost to the Bulls last night and while a Bulls loss would have locked in the Central for us, we can do that by ourselves and the loss dropped our magic number with the Nets down to 3. So while the dog fight for 2nd continues, the chances of falling below 3rd are getting very small.
