Honestly, no me gusta. Just very meh. I still don't understand why the Pacers chose him over Tony Mitchell, Jamaal Franklin, Isaiah Canaan, etc.

I don't see where he's getting minutes either. He's definitely a small forward and with Danny Granger, OJ, and Paul George on roster... where does he come in? Just another D-Leaguer like Plumlee?

Reach. Hope there's a plan for him. Seems to be a very good shooter.

Compared to Draymond Green? Interesting.

Good bit of variety in his game. Looks to at least be able to create a decent shot for himself. Will be interesting to see what his overall handle is like, but I don't mind it.

I still don't understand why we had to reach here. What's so good about him to take in the 1st round?

That would be a big help to the bench.

I know we worked him out twice, but I thought we were looking at him at 53. wow. if this was our guy, any trade down would have worked. guess there was no such option. at least Plumlee went right ahead of us so we couldn't pick one two years in a row. I'm hoping like last year we can get a pick in the 30's.

terrible

bullock wouldve fit a role off the bench perfectly for this team as a shooter

and dude is 23? whats the point in draft picks when you just waste them. hell, i woulda rather seen goodwin at 23. at least hes 18 with a ton of talent & potential. cant say the same about this hill kid.

Hill is not a guy I was paying much attention to...I'll just wait and see how it turns out. Seems like another pick where it could be awhile before he sees much court time.

Even if he's very good; he's at a position that isnt needed. Granger; George; and Stephenson should eat most of the wing minutes.

Mystified how you take this guy over Jamal Franklin. Both do a little of everything, have shots that need to be fixed yet we pick the guy who might not be enough of an athlete over the elite athlete???

The broadcasters are going to have on hell of a time with all the overlapping Georges and Hills

He looks like another Lance from the highlight vids. Hopefully were that lucky.

I actually saw a mock that had us selecting SoloHill, in the second round.

Really would've preferred Bullock or Rice but I will withhold judgment for now. This pick will only add more confusion for the fans. First, I think of SoloJones, then of adding another Hill to the roster.

Really didn't see this coming. Maybe Hill is the type of glue guy our 2nd unit needs. Also any chance Hill and Paul George are good friends? Similar age and both are from the LA area.

Honestly, how much could we expect from the 23rd pick? We're making it sound like we've passed up on a legit future star. Jalen Rose, even though im not a fan of him on tv, keeps saying, now you're picking for depth and players who will make your team and stick around. Anything above that is a cherry on top. Willing to give him a chance.

Eh. Whatevs. Maybe they know better than us mid assume that. I saw him touted as an early to mid 2nd, but at this point, it's all just about preference and fit. If he's truly a do everything kind of guy, and he's a senior who may be able to do it well, even coming off the bench and in limited minutes, then he'll be fine. I don't see any other home run, can't miss kind of dynamos prospects after him.

I just hope his work ethic is great and is a very motivated player. He'll be surrounded by some real good players and some excellent workaholics. Hopefully he's up to the challenge and doesn't mind to put in the work. If he does, i have no doubt he'll have an impact with us.

Yeah, doesn't seem like he fills a hole this year, so they definitely see him replacing Danny, or possibly Lance, in the rotation going forward. He's here at least 3 years, minimum. I'd imagine he'd play out all 4 years of his rookie deal barring injury, since he's so cheap.
