I think that is the rookie camp roster. that usually becomes the base of the summer league roster but some usually do not make it past step one. there are 19 on this list and we probably won't take that many to Orlando,

Rasual Butler and Jonny Flynn in the mix. Whatever happened to Jonny Flynn, it is disappointing.
I would be interested to see Justin Harper work out for the Pacers, he can be a stretch 4, just did not had the chance with the overly crowded Magic team.

Jonny Flynn may be resurrected this year. It would be nice to have him recover his career and be the 3rd point guard for Indy next year (a possible vet min talent). I think the Pacers summer league team will be pretty exciting. Donald Sloan was solid as a backup for the Cavs and is an interesting option too.

All rosters are updated and current. A few teams have not posted their rosters yet on their websites.

I'd like to see what Flynn can do. Hopefully he can challenge BHansbrough for the 3rd PG position.

I'm interested to see what Harper, Sloan, and Jordan bring to the table.

Yes, you're right. Last year, we only took 14 to Orlando. I see 5 of these guys as practice dummies for the week and will be let go before the team leaves on Saturday.

Noticing that Gani Lawal is on the summer roster. I recall the Pacers working him out earlier this spring and I'd expect him to get a pretty good look in camp and summer league. He had assembled a pretty nice European reaume as I recall. Big time athlete who needed to refine his game. Decent chance two years overseas could get that done. Looking forward to seeing what he's got. Wouldn't be surprised is he's the cheap big who sticks.

Updates to PHI, MIA, and Utah have been made and are done.

Still waiting on OKC, DET, and HOU to announce their rosters.

I think so. It seems the team is really looking at Mavunga. I talked to Julian a few days ago and he said the Pacers were really liking the way he developed his game over in Italy. I think he'll be our 15th guy (3rd PF) for sure if we go that route.

SL Notes:

Ganai Lawal will not play summer league basketball this year.

Gani Lawal will NOT play Summer League with Pacers or any other team. Report was inaccurate. Had a number of SL invites which were declined.

The Indiana Pacers announced Friday they have released guard Austin Freeman, guard Travis Releford, forward Ron Howard and guard Steven Gray from their rookie/free agent camp. Center Chris Daniels left camp to pursue an opportunity with another team.

Also:

The Pacers added 6-4 guard Angelo Sharpless, a rookie from Elizabeth City State, to the camp roster.

We had Sharpless in for a few workouts. Could be a good pick-up:

I've been watching the Orlando game and Victor is looking great. Started out the game with back to back 3s as Phil Pressy was going under on screens. Kelly out of Gonzaga was tearing it up offensively but I expected that considering the competition.

I'll be paying a lot of attention to Plumlee. If he doesn't show up against summer league competition...

Steven Adams out of Pitt just threw one down over Watford. OKC up 20-11.

Plumlee and Sloan both had some good moments towards the end of the 1st half. 32-27 OKC
