Watching it now, but the box score scares me, Paul George is a BEAST so far this year, if he can keep this up he will be in the MVP chatter this year.

Edit: Seen it now.

Yep George is heading for MVP chatter, he won't win it, but if he keeps this level of play up a lot of people will fall in love with the Blue and Gold, which can't be a bad thing!

Hibbert was very impressive as well, one of the games where he was supposed to struggle (Drummond/Monroe) he managed to keep his defensive effort up and hit a great deal of balls away from the ring, would have liked a bit more offensive production though.

The team rebounded great, again, against this big men duo that could have been expected to drop off, but the whole group got rebounds.

Worries: Sloan looked very fragile as backup PG, having said that, CJ Watson looked comfortable as starter.

Lance had a big drop-off, I think he got out of the game mentally after getting a stupid flagrant call early on, his head just seemed in the wrong place after that, he did manage a good 7 assists though, so I might be harsh here, but 5 turnovers is too many for a guy in his position.

Second unit is still not producing enough for me, this time mainly due to Sloan looking like a deer caught in the headlights, although it also seems that putting Mahinmi in reduces the front-court threat way too much, I would like to see him more effective at the pick and roll/inside-outside game.

PS: If I was a Pistons fan I'd be bloody worried about the Jennings/Smith propensity to CHUCK THE THREE!!!

I haven't gotten to watch any games this year but I will be watching tonight. Looking at box scores, Roy's lack of scoring has scared me a bit. Not being able to watch games, has he been doing things you don't see in the box score that is just as valueable?

He isn't being used a lot in offense at the moment. His 'intangibles' have been very good though, you could frequently see the Pistons steering well clear of the paint as Hibbert was prowling for his next block. When they did enter BAM! block.

I got the thread for tonight.

Roy looked incredible on defense against the Pistons. Not looking at the box score, but I believe he had one block less than he had points.
