Best food at the fieldhouse, planning to attend this sixer game...
Do they have a Chicken & Waffles spot in the fieldhouse? I read this on pacersdigest.com, but not sure if the place is outside or inside the fieldhouse.
Thank you!

Not sure about all that, but when i went to Indianapolis last season for a game, i went to "the Pub". It's right across the street from the fieldhouse. Really good staff, excellent food, good beer selection and pretty good crowd. We went there on a Friday night and liked it so much we returned the next night as well. Had a blast.

there is a chicken and waffles place at East and Ohio. not sure what their hours are though as I've only been there during lunch hours. I'm not aware of a place like this inside the fieldhouse but I've only been to one game so far this year and I haven't yet walked all the way around to see if the concessions have changed and there usually are a few changes every year.

My destination of choice for food near the fieldhouse is Scotty's. Great wings, burgers and respectable beer selection. I'm pretty easy to please.

our choice is Pearl Street Pizza in the alley across from Scotty's. it used to be kind of a secret but its busy now although not as busy perhaps as Scotty's.

I'll try to find them next time I go which will be the Heat game in December. I don't remember anything like that on the main floor where I sat last year but I moved upstairs and haven't checked out the concessions there yet. I'll do that and report back.

I've always been disappointed with the food in BLF. Poor service, food that's far too expensive for the taste.
I usually hit up the Pub and get something from there, but they've simplified their menu this year so I'm not sure how I feel about all that.

What exactly do you expect? No matter what stadium or sporting event you go to, you're going to wait in long lines and pay ridiculously inflated prices.
Not saying BLF has exceptional food, but still...

I go out of my way to avoid concessions at either BLF or LOS. Would rather support all those places that are supposed to benefit when new expensive sports facilities are being sold to the tax paying public.

You can always check Yelp or something like that.
