Brrrr.... another really inefficient second quarter to add to our slow first halfs this season. It wasn't pretty at all, only Stephenson stood out in the first half, he is beginning to look like a real captain for that second unit, he also clocked 41.25 minutes though.
We could really do with other bench players besides Scola to step up and produce. Having said that, Mahinmi was impressive on the defensive end, the more I see him this season, the more I realise he has improved a lot since he arrived here.
Cope was played as SF in the second quarter, but he hardly got any touches, he just seemed to linger on the three line rather than provide movement and a dynamic partner for Stephenson to initiate offense, we created too few chances with Cope or OJ on the floor, fortunately we did manage to keep the Cs opportunities down (they really look like a development team to me).
Second half: switch was switched, I haven't got the foggiest why it always has to wait until the third quarter, but we demolished them on defense and managed to have a high conversion on offense thanks to PG24, but are we becoming to reliant on his x-factor alone?
Well, maybe not, because the Player of the Game for me was: Lance.
Another triple double, providing a massive spark on both sides of the floor and creating for the others.
PS honourable mention: David West - his fg% was where I would expect it to be and he did a great job overall.
