The dog's Pacers collar came in the mail today. I'd take it as an omen we'll bring this one home.

Looks like Solo Hill is now the backup behind George again. He has come in instead of Cope.

Pacers should be winning by 30. Not only are Sixers on back to back nights, no Spencer Hawes, Thaddeus Young, and Tony Wroten for the Sixers, 3 of their 6 best players. I am shocked they are in the game with only 9 players playing tonight.

I'm really tired of Lance throwing the ball to the other team.

Note to Frank: Quit trying this small ball ****, it doesn't work. Play Mahinmi.

The Sixers best 6 players are, in order:
1. Michael Carter-Williams
2. Michael
3. Carter
4. Williams
5. Evan Turner
6. MCW

Sleeping on Spencer.
I love thos teams affinity to "just get it done". This game seemed like one that last year slipped away. This team shuts the door.

Hey I'm reasonably happy, we scored in the first half!
Lance was frustrating tonight, but he is our energy guy, we need him. I actually liked the fact that Vogel tried small ball with Cope and Scola for a while in the second quarter. Against this opponent he could try it out in a competitive situation without worrying about the outcome of the game too much.
Having said that, I still don't see what Copeland brings to the team, I am increasingly happy that Scola happened, rather than us having to rely on Copeland creating offense for the second unit, he is just too static for my liking. We could really do with Danny coming back though, that will help us a lot at this point.
What I liked best watching the game though was Michael Carter-Williams, the kid is legit, what a player!

I look at Cope as a very, very, very lite version of what we hope to have Danny do when he gets healthy. Hit open jumpers, play solid defense, and just keep the scoring up when the 1st unit is out. Watson and Scola are already proving to be better than Tyler and DJ from last year. Cope hopefully will improve through the year as he gets more comfortable in the system and by that time, Danny should be healthy and we will have two very sharp shooters to come off the bench.

there's a nice piece in the Star about Vogel's roster experiments. worth reading. bottom line though is he's going back to the regular rotation against MN.
