Yeah, no time to practice or anything, just sleep and look at some film. There was less than 20 hours between the Spurs game and tip-off here.

I look for the Pacers to make a push out of the locker room in the second half. If that happens, they are on their way to making this game interesting.

Agreed 100% I always watch the game before I comment on it. I didnt take much away from this game other than the guys looked tired. A growing trend seems to be that the bench didnt provide much outside of Scola and Watson. I think that Sloan should play more mins than OJ. Push Watson to the 2; at least they would likely score more points. They may present a mismatch but the bench scoring and energy would improve.

I think there might be 5 people who regularly post on our forum and we never have game threads. Still, those of us who ARE there are every bit as knowledgeable and behind our team as you guys are

this is a brutal three-game stretch. SAS, OKC and MIA all in a row?


then there's the bobcats, then another tough stretch with the pistons/heat/rockets.


you guys are in for some real basketball.

The only real brutal game was the OKC one, since we were heading into it with 20 hours between the buzzer in San Antonio and the tip-off in Oklahoma City against a fresh team. It may have looked like we played okay for stretches, but our defense was not anywhere as good as it could have been. Expect to see a motivated team on Tuseday.

We also won't have any back-to-backs for a while, so we won't be able to fall back on that as an excuse if we lose again anytime soon.

Brutal first half, pretty clear that energy levels were very low, but excellent job by the OKC to capitalise on it.

Shooting 0-9 from the 3 point arc to begin the game with doesn't help. Stephenson struggled immensely throughout. But you can't single him out as I felt almost the entire team was playing weak ball except for a certain mister George.

Getting out-rebounded 46-29 doesn't help either. Having said that, TOs were relatively low. Did I say George played well?

That is enough of a review, tough back to back, can't blame the guys for getting outhustled.

I post here precisely because there are a limited number of knowledgeable people here. we have a high signal to noise ratio unlike other Pacer sites. that said, the is a RealGM forum and so it is busiest in the times of the year when roster moves are likely. as our roster is set, there isn't all that much GM stuff to discuss right now. don't measure our interest by game threads. we tend to watch the games and then post afterwards. not much to post about this one though as 5 games in 9 nights left us without enough gas to compete against a very good team at their place.
