Question about tickets

Boston fan here. Thanks for beating the Heat the other night.
I am thinking about coming to the pacers/celtics game on the 22nd. If I remember correctly scalping is legal in Indiana? Does anyone have any experience trying to get lower level seats before a game? How much should I expect to pay? I know I can go through StubHub but am tempted to try outside the arena to save a little money.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Yeah, scalping is legal. You can find scalpers around the parkings lots near BLF. Not sure about prices though. To me, the security of having a ticket from StubHub is better than saving a few bucks hoping to get a ticket from a scalper. But hey, whatever you're comfortable with.

EXTREMELY hit or miss. Especially if you're looking for just lower level. Could get lucky...could end up paying double of something on Stubhub.

prices are usually under face on the street. it is possible that the box office has some tickets available at face although they wouldn't be lower level, center court. I took a look at pacers.com which took me to ticketmaster and there are plenty of upper deck seats available and single seats in the lower level. also season ticket holders are encouraged to sell their tickets here:

It's legal. The only thing aren't scalpers required to say, "Anyone selling tickets?", when they're really trying to sell them to you?
