Rasual Butler is getting some big playing time. OJ is really not cutting it for Vogel, it seems.

I know I'm talking to myself right now, but Rasual Butler DESERVES to have OJ's playing time based on this. He's got 6 points from 2 3-pointers. Shots OJ just doesn't hit.

Butler did some savvy stuff. He had difficult assignments with tiny quick guards while he was winded, but if he's healthy, Granger can bring that and more.

Im glad to finally see something different happened other than OJ or Solo in there missing everything. Butler at least gave u a couple made shots in the minutes he played. I didnt see this game so I dont know what he looked like on defense. But from what it looks like in the boxscore Butler played some good minutes (23) on a night that PG24 had an off game. That has been my concern with OJ and Solo. Everyone else seemed to play efficiently. 20 or more (24 tonight) bench points is a nice luxury for when guys are off. Now if we can get some consistency from Butler or Granger when he's back; this team will keep rolling.

I watched the condensed game, quite busy today. I was VERY worried that there were signs of complacency creeping in when the score just wasn't going our way at all. We pulled it out in the end, but really, we should have been more dominant. This is our turf!
Having said that, I am a closet admirer of the Lolcats, everybody is beasting on them all the time, but I like underdogs and this year I think they are better than people think they are. The coach seems a great appointment, McBob is playing well, Jefferson gives them legit inside scoring, Walker, Henderson and MKG give them different options (btw what has happened with MKG? he seems to be playing less and less?). And the team overall has really bought into Defense. Aren't they the third best defensive team in the NBA right now?
They have problems, of course they do, but the structure is in place to go somewhere. Next year they will be Hornets again, proper Charlotte Hornets. Looking forward to that.
