It's probably the best thing for Solo.

Great decision. He shouldve been there. He can develop there playing 30 or more mins a game.

Yep, agreed. He isn't going to see the floor a lot now Danny is back. Let him play all the competitive ball he can get.

Speaking of which, is there a way to see madants games online somehow?

Can we send Danny to the D-League? He looks soo out of rhythm on the floor...I know he will find his role, but feels out of sync to me. Can't wait for him to gel to see what we can do!

Danny would have to suggest the idea (per NBPA rules), and it would have had to have been purely as rehab before he came back to the Pacers. For example, if he would have been playing D-League these past two weeks, and then come back to the Pacers, it would be legal. Not the reverse.

Solo had a nice first game with the Mad Ants. He scored 19 points on 12 shots (6/12 from the field, 2/5 from 3 and 5/6 from the FT line), 5 assists and 3 rebounds. He did have 6 turnovers (2 or 3 of them were offensive fouls), though.

They picked him ahead of Hardaway, Bullock, Goodwin, Gobert, Jean-Charles, Abrines, Jackson, Canaan,...

And as poorly as we may make it sound that Solo has played, he's been better than most of that list, this far....

And your point is?

Jean-Charles and Abrines have not come over yet.

I would be very glad with picking up Gobert since I believe in my team's ability to develop Centers but he is a big project.

Pierre Jackson has not played an NBA game yet. He is playing well in Idaho Stampede, of course, but the Pacers weren't interested in picking up a 5'10 PG. We value size a lot.

Hardaway Jr. is playing very nice and kudos to him but the Pacers were looking for a two-way player.

Bullock would be a very good pick for us. I liked him a lot and still do. I would be completely fine with him even though he has not played that well so far.

Goodwin would be nice as well. He is a nice player and he has future in this league. Just like Solo Hill does.

Canaan is a player that I wanted us to take but I already told you how the Pacers feel about undersized PGs. Still, Canaan has potential and I was on his bandwagon.

I'd say it is too early to judge Solomon Hill. He seems lost in every minute he has played but he's not really and should not be getting a lot of minutes because of our roster.
Last year, people were hard on Miles Plumlee. The guy just needed minutes and a little time to familiarize himself with the league. And look at him now.
I am not saying Solomon Hill will have the same unexpected turn around, but let's see what he can do in regular minutes and go from there. He can definitely play, he's just out of sync, it seems like.

I find it strange that he was an upper classman like most of our draft picks but seems to have the on court maturity of someone way younger. Lacks poise and BBIQ.
