How do you guys feel about Lance Stephenson not being named an All-Star reverse?

Should be in ahead of JJ. But Kyle Lowry should be in ahead of both.

would have been nice for him but he's young. he's a little flashy which may have turned off some coaches. his omission actually could save us some money next summer though.

I wish he had made it and I thought he deserved it, but I'm fine with him not making it. I don't think any team should have had 3 all stars this year (Miami deserved 2 at most) and Hibbert definitely deserved it. Lance will make all star teams in the future.

As Wizop said, it could save us some money next summer which is a plus. I think its also good for Lance's development. Let him use that snub to motivate him. For all we know he could have gotten in and become more cocky (what I fear will happen with Kyrie getting in when he's sucked this year).

I think it is absolutely crazy that no one wanted him in the draft and the 2nd year he gets actual playing time he's considered an all star by many. That alone should get him the MIP this year.

Originally i was disappointed. I was definitely rooting for him.

Now however I am thankful. I believe the journey to Lance reaching his full potential in Indiana, is one in which he is not receiving all star accolades at this time. (at least that's what I am telling myself)

His ceiling is crazy high, but fragile as well.

I am kind of disappointed too but I think this will help the team in trying to negotiate Lance's upcoming contract. The kid deserves it though. But yeah, he's very young. And I can see him getting more motivation from this.

The league leader in triple doubles should be in the all star game.

But it'll save us some money in free agency.

He's just too young. Most coaches are a year behind in players being all stars. He wouldn't be able to make it next year if he didn't have this great year this year.

Lance Stephen definitely deserved a spot over Joe Johnson considering the Brooklyn Nets have been awful this season. If Lowry had been given the spot then it would make more sense, he has been on a tear this season. But Joe Johnson over the both of them is nonsense.

This may not be the place to post this, but as a Hawks fan who would love to see Lance in a Hawks uniform next season, what are the chances you think he leaves? I know he wants to resign, but if he gets offered $10-12M can the Pacers afford to keep him? Or do you think he'll take a bit less to stay with Indiana? Just curious, mean no harm.

Paul George left 3% on the table for his team mates. Lance could leave some too but we don't expect him to be silly. it's real money after all. we'll have trouble keeping him if the bidding gets much over 10. our best hope is that the luxury tax number takes an unexpected jump.

I'm not too bothered, if he had gone in than people would still say that Lowry, JJ, player X deserved it more. I am however not impressed with Bosh or Noah being called up, I think there are other big men in the East that deserve it more, thinking of an Al Jefferson, Nik Vucevic, Tyson Chandler. But that might be because I don't like the Heat nor Joakim Noah ;)

In short: it is all subjective and I don't really care, as long as they entertain us.

As much as I hate Chris Bosh he definitely deserved to be an all star, he's one of the best power forwards in the eastern conference. He could be a problem when the pacers play the heat in the playoffs

he's never been a problem against the pacers in all the games they played I don't expect bosh to be a major problem against the pacers

his ability to spread the floor and take players like west and hibbert out of their element could mean trouble, I still think the pacers are the better team but bosh could be a cause for concern

Theoretically, he should be, but he never has been with the Heat. Against us, Lebron is by far the most impact player. When someone like Bosh is on the court, a guy who needs some shots and the ball run through him at times to be successful, it just takes touches away from LeBron, and that's a good thing. I'd love Bosh to take 20 shots a game. That's 20 less that Bron can take.

I agree. The only time Bosh "hurts" us is when he hits wide open shots from the perimeter. But is he really hurting us? Or is it Lebron drawing attention from our whole team and then finding the open man thats hurting us? I think the latter.
