If we lose this one, I will officially be concerned.
Also the start of the Bynum era.

Doesn't look bad so far but he's played only 2 minutes so far

Bynum has done a very good job so far. Defensively he didn't do a lot but he was very good offensively and gobbled up a lot of rebounds.

There is nothing to see, really. Trolls never get the last laugh because they never survive long enough in a forum

Bynum with 8 points, 10 rebounds, and most importantly, 0 INJURIES! He was awesome tonight and I hope he keeps it up. Sucks to be Mahinmi though.

Yeah, Ian was playing well lately. Well, the best player will get the job.
Bynum's D wasn't very good tonight and that's the one area that Ian specializes in. If Ian plays great defensively then he will get to keep his job.

When you score more points and get more rebounds than Hibbert playing 15 mins to his 29...the slight short coming of D ain't gonna matter.

If it's only a slight short coming then it isn't gonna matter. But it didn't look like a slight one.
I'm sure that Bynum is going to have better defensive nights, though

Preface: i have not watched this game.
Pacers have only out rebounded one team in march. To me, the double digit rebounds may be the best thing Bynum can contribute. But assuming he can score around the rim as well (3-4)....That's exactly what the Pacers need off the bench. In the list of things I want out of our perennial terrible bench, defensive specialists (Mahimi) is the last.

Did Bynum look to be in good shape? Saw a picture on Facebook of him looking super-fit in game but in-game pics always look glossy and doctored. How'd he look? He played really well it seems, but in these first few games I think the most important parts are fitness/health/fit.

I agree Ian is the most replaceable piece on the bench I don't care is Bynum can only play mediocre defense I like what Bynum does more the what Ian does. Bynum can score an rebound the best out of him an Ian.

Bynum's game is still really good. He's not likely to be a locker room issue for rest of this season, so the one and only question is his health.

Just a side note here, its nice to see the activity picking up here. 18 posts in a game thread is a whole lot better than just 2 or 3.
