Knicks fan, so I don't want to make a separate thread on this, but I've been meaning to ask for a while: Any regrets on the Scola trade? Seems like Green and Plumlee are both starting caliber players on a team that would have HCA in the East. And then the pick. Would you guys do this trade again? Scola obviously won't hurt you, and hindsight is 20/20, just want to hear some thoughts.

Luis Scola's run in the second quarter was remarkably bad. His man Stoudamire was getting whatever he wanted. Buckner's comment "Amare is a tough cover for Luis.". Is there anyone in the league who isn't? His shot appears to be gone. Lavoy Allen, Chris Copeland, small ball take your pick it's got to be better than Scola at this point.

Remember when people were saying that Paul George is already Indianas greatest player?

Who ever is saying that must not have watched the Reggie Miller and Rik Smith pacers.

Hope that everything is ok with your health, Jake.
I have to apologize for my inactivity in the last two threads but I'm visiting a friend of mine in Northern Greece and I didn't have access to a computer.

Having Cj Watson out of the lineup hurts us more then what most people think

Nuntius, in Thessaloniki by chance? One of my favourite cities, did a lot of work with a University there.
I am actually watching the game now, I sort of knew this would be a loss, NYK rolling and we have been struggling despite some wins recently.
To answer you Boarder Patrol: no regrets from me. Scola isn't looking great at the moment, but Green would not have featured for us at all (he is simply bad at coming off the bench I reckon) and Plumlee for an experienced big was a gamble we took - we are all in this year.
Sure, with hindsight, knowing we would get Bynum and Lavoy Allen it is easy to ridicule the decision, but at the time it was a coup and I still think Scola will help us in the play-offs.

No, I'm in Kavala. I'm going to Thessaloniki today but I'll only stay until midnight to catch my train for Athens.

If you get a chance, go drink something pleasant on the roof of the Electra hotel (Aristotelous square by the water) best place to see the sun set!
Just saying that makes me want to book a flight haha!

It was still a decent trade, but no I would not do the trade, especially knowing we would get Lavoy Allen and Bynum later on. I don't care about Plumlee, he wouldn't have gotten any time and isn't really much different from Ian. Green just sucked with us and he would never have gotten any minutes either. I'm glad he's doing well in Phoenix, but he was a complete and utter waste of 3.5 mil. The first is the only thing that hurts.
I don't know if Scola's issues are an injury or not being put in the right places. I want Vogel to use Copeland as West's sub early instead of Scola. At least he tries on defense and can score. Better to put him out there when we're only down 10 early as opposed to 20 in the 2nd half.

I know which one you mean. I stayed in Thessaloniki for 4-5 hours and we went to a small bar called Izzy which is quite close to the hotel you mentioned.
