Rest the starters minus Hill.

We should put Hill, Turner, Copeland, Scola and Mahinmi in and not even suit up Stephenson, PG, West and Hibbert. It is the only way to send out the signal to the group that this is due to fatigue and that we are only bothered about the play-offs from here on in.

It gives our second unit a chance to play together and get some much needed understanding going between them.

My point is thus: it is useless just sitting Hibbert, it would make him a scapegoat. Might as well sit the 'big 4' for want of a better word. We can't sit Hill as long as CJ is injured otherwise I would have put him on the list as well.

It's not like we need the coming four games for anything. @Bucks, @Heat, OKC and @Magic.

you could start Turner at point and rest Hill too.

True and might well be necessary as well. Fact is, I don't care what we do in the next four games, we have virtually lost the first seed, are guaranteed 2-seed anyway, might as well switch all our focus to the play-offs and get it right.

We could still get the first seed back if we beat Miami head to head again. It'll be tough, but until we officially lose to them, I think we play the season out and try to get that 1st seed back and get back in rhythm.

Pacers cancelled practice today... Its getting pretty bad I guess.

rest. fatigue. Vogel said with hindsight he might have rested players in March and I agree with that.

Yeah, the issue is that we were perhaps a bit too focussed on first seed. Bad choice with hindsight. It is also good for rotation guys to start every now and then. The consistency seems to be biting us in the rearside at the moment.

According to Facebook all five starters are sitting the Bucks game out. Frank, if you read this again, thanks!

Yep, all 5 starters sitting. But we are basically forfeiting the one seed at this point.

one seed will probably be determined Friday. we can stay with Bucks without starters and Miami will have trouble with Griz without Wade. in any event, the seed hardly matters if we keep playing as we have been.
