The Skinny
Image
The Pacers had everything going for them. Up 3-1 in the series. Coming back from a 19 point deficit in the previous game. Paul George having 39 points in game 4. They had all the momentum and were at home for an elimination game that could send them to the Eastern Conference Finals. But the Pacers went into game 5 flat. The starters look tired, the shots didn’t fall, and there was no hustle. The Pacers got beat in every facet of the game and lost 102-79. Now, the series goes to Washington where the Pacers desperately need to end this series before the Wizards take the momentum and extend it to 7 games. Can the Pacers wrap it up? Or will this be the 2nd time in 2 rounds that the Pacers go to 7?

Washington had 10 points from the bench, the Pacers had 33, but mostly due to garbage time. The bench was still bad, just like everyone else who wore a Pacers jerseys.

Pacers playing great so far. Missing a lot of free throws, but we're slowing them down in transition, rebounding, and making plays on offense. Might be our best game of the series.

0 fast break points for the Wizards. That's how you beat John Wall.

The offense looks so much better when Hill controls it than when Lance does.

Woke up at 3.15 to see West lead a 12-2 run in the fourth. That man has had enough of incompetence.

Should have been a five game series, but this will have to do, at least we get some rest this weekend. I'll be up in Scotland next week, so unlikely to see the games, let's hope we take advantage of HCA and show the Heat what we can do.

At least they didn't fold down the stretch. I also really like the win coming with PG only getting 10 points. Now, its game time v Heat!

Just finished watching Q1-3 Hibbert had a great game, incredible effort.

Hitting 50% of shots throughout the game as well, very satisfying. If we had hit a few more than 2-10 three pointers we would have got close to 100.

Congrats Indy. The next series isn't going to be like the last two. I hope you guys come with it from the jump.

Appreciated pal, hoping the same :)

I have this feeling though that we won't see a repeat of game 5 in this series. If the guys can't get hyped for this series than nothing will.
