Pacers waived Adonis Thomas, Chris Singleton, C.J. Fair and Arinze Onuaku. Shayne Whittington made the team.

He's certainly not looking great. Luckily, he's not paid so much he couldn't ever be cut. I would imagine if he flounders this year, and maybe next, he'd be looking for Euro deals and would take a clear buyout, easing our pain.

Agreed on Rudez, he really needs to get adjusted quick because in this form and state of mind he isn't going to get 1 minute this season (I hope).
Whittington was a predictable choice I suppose, I expect to see him in a Mad Ants jersey quite a lot. Speaking of which, how come the Mad Ants have 13!!! affiliations these days? Are they the Dyson Hoover of the D-league?

Kind of. They're one of the few independently owned NBDL teams, and thus, one of the few that will take assignments from teams that don't own their own D-League team. Remember, NBA teams are buying their own D League teams (Bakersfield owned by the Lakers, Santa Cruz by the Warriors, Maine by the Celtics, etc). Thus, the teams that don't own a team are all being jammed together.

I was hoping there was a way we could keep CJ Fair, we need alL THE CJ's we can get. But really I think he's gonna stick with someone, he might need a year in the NBDL or europe, IDK about Rudez as I have not been able to see any preseason games.

I never liked the Rudez signing. He seems more like a stretch 4 to me than a real wing player, and Vogel doesnt much like to use stretch 4s. We really need a more athletic 3 and D type player the way we hope S Hill turns out.
Keeping whittington seems like insurance for when we move Scola or West, especially since we also have Allen and that Copeland is a better PF than SF.

With all the injuries the Pacers have had especially at point. We're going into tonight's opener with Sloan and no back up.

And Philly is without MCW. So their starting PG should be either Wroten or Maynor. This is going to be a really ugly game.

I think we can beat them what's the starting lineup?
Hibbert
Scola
Cope
Miles
Sloan
Who is gonna back up Sloan? I heard Stuckey was out also, is Miles the back up at point?
