Although I'd love to be proved wrong, we're gonna get smashed tonight fellas. Roy is officially out, so we're starting Ian. Without Roy, I wouldn't be surprised if the Mavs lit us up for 125 tonight.
Scola is gonna get abused by Dirk all night... and Tyson on Ian... Monta and Parsons against Cope and Solo...
Well, here goes nothing, I guess.

I'll be interested to see how Solo does on Monta. I think Cope could do ok against Parsons. They kind of have a similar build and Parsons will be hanging around the perimeter a lot. Agree that Scola will get abused by Dirk. Hopefully he realizes he needs to get Dirk to bang in the post, whether it's on a post play for him or battling for a board. At least Ian knows the Mavs and Chandler so he may be able to mess with him a bit or get him a few fouls, though I'm not sure he's that smart.
I'm expecting us to play alright for stretches and give them a few runs, but ultimately not be able to stop their offense for more than a play or two.

Are we going to give Vogel some credit?
Also, are things getting chippy between Solomon Hill and Chandler Parsons?

We haven't had a chance to see unleashed George Hill. For all we know he could've been better.

Well, Sloan is pretty much pullng off exactly what we hope George Hill will do. He is making plays and attacking the basket and draining threes. It sounds like Hill makes too much money to come off the bench, but it also doesn't make much sense to pull somebody who is producing on the hope that another player could do as well.
It is gonna be an issue, now that our guys are playing in rhythm enough to beat teams like the Mavs, Bulls, Heat. Now how much do we disrupt that rhythm to add our usual starters back in?

Wow.
It helped that our 3 pointers were falling. Cope, Rudez, Sloan, some Miles, even one from Scola lol.

Crikey, only just looked at the box-score. Amazing performance. These guys are beginning to gel, agreed that this gives problems for the starters coming back - but it is an incredibly nice problem to have. I have said from the start of the season we'd make play-offs, despite the injuries. It is looking more and more likely.
All doubts I had about Vogel have gone, except for one: He didn't use his bench well enough. Now he has seen he has a bench and found out how to get most out of them, I really hope he learns from that and will play a broader rotation.

I hope so.
Impressive performance guys. You guys just controlled the game from the start, answered every small run we got going and just came in and beat us. Really impressed with how Sloan played, and really the team as a whole.
Did not expect to lose that game especially once I learned Hibbert would be out, but we just got beat.
