That was an infuriating game for me. The final score really doesn't say the whole story. We had a chance to make this a 4-point game with 6:56 remaining but Solomon missed both FTs and after that point the Suns got every single break.

It absolutely sucks to play a horrible matchup and see them getting all the breaks.

It did seem like the two missed free throws was where this ended for the Pacers. But, I don't think it was about breaks falling for the Suns as much as they simply ran us off the floor from that point forward. I think we could play these guys 10 times and we'd lose all ten. I really like the Sun's approach to the game and I think their style is closer to what will win a championship than what we are doing.

I'm a big fan of Dragic too. But I'm afraid he would be wasted in the Pacer's system. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see us get him but if we did the speed with which the Pacers play would have to be ramped up considerably.

I get what you're saying, but its not like he can't play in a halfcourt system. And we could just make sure he's on the floor more without guys like Hibbert.

Kind of a moot point though, since we won't have close to enough to get him unless he takes a likely substantial paycut or both Hibbert/West opt out and take good sized cuts. And we wouldn't have much to offer in a sign and trade either.

I expect both Hibbert and West to opt out. It's the obvious business decision. Tack on the guaranteed years while you have the leverage. When the time comes the question, would the Pacers leave either West or Hibbert dangling whie persuing Dragic? Realistically there wouldn't be enough money to sign all three. I'll be surprised if the Pacers don't have a challenging and interesting 2015 summer.
