Hey guys, looking forward to tonight, Pacers/Bulls is always a game. You might want to add our current best player to the lineup though. That is unless something horrible happened that i don't know about yet.

Jimmy Butler is having a heck of a year, what kind of salary are you expecting to pay to keep him? He's stated he wants the max, and considering how well he's playing and the lack of talent at 2 position in the NBA, he's worth it.

I'm sure there are more active posters that can break this down with way greater detail than I can, but I don't see any scenario where Butler is not a Bull next year. His max number is lower than most due to his years in the league, and the bulls have wanted an all star shooting guard forever. I think Bulls can and will offer him a bigger contract than anyone, and I'm excited to see him a Bulls uni for years.
Also excited for PG to come back and for some more epic bulls/pacers battles.

Agreed, 2 way players like Butler don't come around very often, we are lucky to have one ourselves in PG13. We need to add some young talent to our roster to get back on the level of the Raptors, Wizards, Hawks, Cavs, and you guys. We are stuck in an odd position where we could still make the playoffs but IMO I believe it's more detrimental than positive to get swept in the first round and costing ourselves a high draft pick.

A lot of unselfish dudes in that second unit, making the extra pass.

Defense is playing great with Scola and Allen on the floor together.

What a **** call at the end. Vogel was calling the TO with 2 seconds left. . 5? Seriously? Got screwed.

Definitely got hosed, ref has to be more aware. Really proud of the second unit though, especially Copeland, came up huge down the stretch aside for a late turnover.

I'm proud of the fight that this team displayed down the stretch. It sucks that it didn't result in a win but c'est la vie. I just want to focus on the heart that our guys showed in this near comeback and congratulate each one of them. That's all that matters for me.

Agreed completely,
Last year this game would have pissed me off beyond belief, this year I am just happy with our effort. I think Vogel made the right decision leaving the bench in and we got a great last look it just didn't go.

Great effort for the comeback. Copland played super well.
Unfortunately shows that we can't get down by a million points every game before waking up.

I think the Pacers should try to showcase Copeland before the trading deadline, maybe a playoff team feels like they're missing an offensive spark off the bench and Copeland is the answer for their playoff run. I could see a team giving up a early second round pick for him if they felt like they were a sharpshooter away from a deep run. Scola and Watson both could have some value for some young team's looking for some veteran leadership in the playoffs.
