Playoff seed

I see us in the end slipping into the seventh seed if all goes well. The sixth is the max we could go and I think it is unrealistic. So I think we might see Atlanta or Cleveland, maybe Chicago. Not looking great, but when George is back and integrated with the team again we might ride that momentum into the playoffs. Hill has come into his own this year. Hibbert and West will both be factors as well. I think it all rests on Paul George.

We'll give anybody a run for their money, of that I am certain. I don't think this Cavs team is anywhere near as good as Miami was last year, LeBron/Love don't quite seem to have it figured out yet and although I realise LBJ is going to be a monster I think West would actually do a good job on Love.
Also, Irving and Love aren't exactly experienced in play-offs, nor is most of the active support cast on that team. I think we can see an upset. Atlanta are scary, but we can get lucky there.
Got huge 1/150 odds on this, so I am just going to be eating my nails until play-offs come!

a week ago I would have voted for seven but this week I went with six. I almost feel like a bandwagon fan which is strange given that I've been following them since their very first ABA game. I'm back to watching the standings every day and keeping track of the Hornets, Bucks, and Heat as their games progress. last night all three of their games went our way. I sure wasn't this interested earlier in the year although some of that may have been the Colts playoff run.

Hah! You don't ever have to worry about being a bandwagon Pacers fan!

that is amazing, you deserve a permanent seat on the sidelines.
When I go and watch my local football team (Sheffield Wednesday) I frequently sit next to a 92 year old gentleman (he might be 93 now) who keeps talking about the amazing double championship and how he celebrated with the whole city and the school he was at was decorated with blue and white flags.
That was 1929 and 1930... I was -48 the last time we won the league, I was -11 when the Pacers joined the ABA.
Edit: Forgot to make the point I was coming to make!
Isn't Karma great? We had a TERRIBLE run this time last year, look at us now!
