Pacers Organist Dies

I like organ at ballparks and arenas. It's a lost art. His play was very solid. Not only was he proficient at his instrument, he also kept it old-school with his style, and I'll miss his rendition of "Caravan" as the Pacers push the ball up the floor.

Whether you liked the organ or not, the man played through colon cancer. He was a member of our extended Pacers family whose absence will be felt. RIP, Copley.

May he rest in eternal peace. How the organ sounded in the arena will always be remembered.

It is unfortunate. I didn't know he was playing through cancer.

I'm definitely a bigger fan of hearing someone play real instruments like the organ or the Pacers big percussion group than I am of just having songs play over the speakers.

You don't appreciate someone until they're gone. RIP.
