Kinda worried about no Jordan Hill...might see some super small lineups tonight if Mahimni gets in foul trouble.
How about CJ freakin Miles? This guy is unconscious right now. Hes really proving to be one of the best shooters in the league. Off to a good start tonight.

Solid win against an uninspired bulls team. The window with this Chicago squad as a contender has closed. Hoiberg really doesnt have a lot to work with. Pau and Noah are in their twilight, Rose is an injury waiting to happen, Mirotic is a chucker. Honestly think they might be wise to blow it up now and start building around Jimmy.
Mahinmi was excellent tonight. 15pt 9reb 4ast Also hit 5 of his last 6 free throws when the bulls tried to get cute. The whole team played hard defense tonight, and especially Ellis. He was a bulldog out there. Paul George got his, but refs seem to be against him. Had another T tonight which only continues to hurt his case...still like to see him control his emotions better and play nicer to the officials (even though a couple calls were pretty atrocious).
Cant say enough about Vogel. Its so refreshing to watch the cers and consistently have nothing to complain about on the coaching end. Love to see him get coach of the year honors if we keep up this brand of basketball.

I love watching Monte Ellis when he goes all in. He just goes full force and is nearly unstoppable. Once he gets back to hitting his free throw shots, which hes been a pretty solid FT shooter for his career, i think he will be a force for the Pacers.
It was great to see Mahimni connect on the free throws when Hoiberg started to play "hack-a-Mahimni" late in the game. They got desperate but Mahimni made them pay.
It was evident the Pacers were missing Jordan Hill tonight, but Allen stepped up well. However, we entered the game as the best three-pt shooting team in the league and had an awful night shooting from distance. Had we connected a bit more early on, we would of maintained a 15-17pt lead throughout the game.

The more I see of this Pacers team, the more I am completely and utterly convinced that Vogel and Bird are genii and I am a complete plank when it comes to understanding what makes a good team.
This group is unconscious when it comes to talent and possible line-up variations AND has good depth.
It is way too soon to make predictions but a play-off spot seems a lock at the moment and I can see us make life difficult for all Eastern teams this year, especially if PG13 keeps playing like this, he is an utter revelation,

Saw some Solomon Hill tonight. Good that his lack of playing time lately hasn't totally derailed him. We played good D which kept us up this game. There were times it looked like we could barely buy a shot, but were still up 15. It would have been a monstrous lead if our buckets were falling. I disagree about Mirotic. He had some moments in this game that kept them close. Hit big shots.
Paul George chucking those threes though...

Went over to bulls forum to see if they were giving us any credit and found 89 pages. Read the first and last. I'm thankful for our low quantity high quality forum.

PG had a couple questionable chucks, but the guy is shooting at a 45% clip from 3 and still went 4/10 this game.
I cant disagree that Mirotic shot/played well, but this is only one game and hes rarely on like that. That guy has tunnell vision and his overall game is just really meh to me. Almost like a Damjan Rudez. Not saying he cant serve a role but if hes a starter for your team then thats not good.

Right now I'm laughing my butt off at those guys in the trade board that said we were gonna stink!! Remember three weeks or so ago there were 10 threads talking about how we should trade PG and rebuild! What are those clowns saying now?

Man I just spent a 1/2 reading the game thread on the Bulls board. They thought they were gonna smoke us and about 1 hour into the game they started hating on their own team and players it's a must read.
