First reported by ESPN then confirmed by Buckner and she added a bit more to the puzzle.

Alonzo Gee or Luke Babbitt wouldn't be bad additions for the Pacers if they can swing a one-for-one trade IMO.

Thoughts?

Not too bothered, he is a nice kid and utterly professional, but he doesn't really add anything to the team.

I wouldnt mind that too much either. He's like a Travis Best. But has a lot of playoff games on his resume.

I don't know how we could swing that as Cole makes 3 mil. So we'd have to include Jordan Hill and take back someone else small. Plus Cole has some value.

I really don't see anything that NOP could offer us in a straight up trade that would be worth it. Gee is a worse shooter than Solo and Babbitt is terrible all around. I guess Ish Smith wouldn't be bad as an emergency PG, plus we'd save a bit of money.

Since Cole signed his Qualifying Offer for this year, he has a right of refusal on any trades, and any team acquiring him would not receive Bird Rights (the ability to exceed the salary cap to re-sign a player). Granted, we have massive cap space this summer, but still, is he a primary piece to spend it on, or would you rather spend it on other guys?

Not a fan of Cole. I'd rather have Babbitt if possible. Or just a second rounder.

Would be nice to get somebody who can play the 4. Hard to play big right now with just one guy injured.

If the Rockets strike out on Markieff Morris and Pelicans get him instead would Houston and Terrance Jones work into the picture? That would be cool. Pacers would need to throw in... Whittington for that to work, but Jones would be nice for the front court.

If we aren't willing to play Hill at the 4 more often like we did against Chicago, then I dont see why we don't.

Early reports had New Orleans interested. Would be tough to swing, but I'd love to get Ryan Anderson since he's on te block apparently

Ah, didn't see that. Anderson is a fine player but not in that same tier with PG/Durant/LBJ/Curry/etc.

With the league going how it's going though, not surprised given the contracts guys like draymond, Middleton and others got
