4-26-16 - Game 5: Pacers @ Raptors

Post#1 » by Jermainevent » Mon Apr 25, 2016 11:29 am

After evening up the series on Saturday afternoon the Pacers are headed back to Toronto for this pivotal Game 5 matchup on Tuesday at 6 PM on TNT. It's going to take another whole team effort to pull out the victory.

That and another poor shooting night from the Toronto guards

You say poor shooting night, I say good defensive effort by Paul George and George Hill. :D

I think this game decides the series, as most game 5s do when tied 2-2. I don't see us having the capability to both defend our home court AND beat them in Toronto in front of a game 7 crowd.

Like said above, it's going to have to be a team effort again. Hill and George have to continue to shut down Lowry and Derozan and hopefully Casey makes the mistake of taking Val out of the offense and making him a non factor outside of offensive rebounds.

This is is a fun series.

I don't think it's that clear cut. If we split the next two, there is a chance that Toronto will go into game 7 thinking here we go again. small emotional edges can be huge in the playoffs.

Patterson starting over Scola, that's a good move for the Raps. Oh.

Like the defense early forcing turnovers and running with it.

3 steals early, hate to see Ian with 2 fouls so early. PG doing the D!

PG13 and Turner are bringing it early. Going to need Ellis or Hill to start chipping in some buckets.

George Hill, PG13 and Solo all knocking down threes! Couldn't ask for a better start, got to keep the intensity up though.

Do we have to play Lawson in the second half?
