This should be a great game 7. I think itll go down to the wire and be a dogfight. I feel like George Hill is the key to this game. He needs to be agressive out there and hit shots (and I know this is a cliche thing to say at this point with him). I cringe anytime i watch a game where Monta shoots more 3s than him. Our chance at winning exponentially increases with PGs assist total, so I hope he looks to get GH involved. Other than that, Pacers have to limit offensive boards if they wanna eek out this victory. Raptors have been getting too many 2nd chance points on their homecourt.

In other news. Definitely saw a blowout coming for the Heat - Hornets game 7. I hate lopsided wins in elimination games...such a disappointment for the fans.

They have more desperation than us. This game is really not in our favor.

More desperation, but more pressure. And really they had a ton of pressure to close out the series last game. Still in their favor though as they're the better team and at home.

If they get it together, this team can give any team in the league a run for their money.

Let's get this win and move on!

Did anyone think we'd win the final three minutes?

Not really. I was just thinking that this is a great loss to go into the offseason with. This team had it pulled out of their clutches and they were so, so close. That sting is going to be a great motivator.

Let me start by saying - the refs did not lose us the game. But that no-call shove hurt, even though it would've still put us down by 1 if mahinmi somehow made both.

Still though, great comeback effort. You could see te growth of this team. I'm not sure they would've mounted a good comeback like that in those conditions a few months ago.

Nonetheless, good season overall, considering all the roster turnover, George's full season return. Not bad for a team many analysts predicted to be in the lottery.

We need a coach change, series was ours till 5th game 4th quarter. Vogel is too limited and Bird saw that.

I know there's been a lot of "fire Vogel" talk, but I'm not sold. Unless there's a clear upgrade out there who would have interest.

After all, this is a guy who led the team to two Conference Finals, nearly got the injury-depleted team without PG to the playoffs last year, and got this year's team, which many predicted to finish in the lottery to the playoffs and nearly beat the 2nd seed.

With guys like Thibs, Brooks, and Walton off the board and guys like Jeff Van Gundy wanting dual coaching/front office power which isn't happening, I don't think it's super necessary. If by chance, the players are complaining or tuning him out, that's a different story.

Admittedly, I'm not up on some of the top assistants out there still available.

We need a second scorer, which Hill isn't suited, Turner isn't ready for, and Monta no longer is. Trade Stuckey, try and sign that second guy, and move Monta to the 6th man role.

Vogel should be safe, I hope. There's no one out there whose available who is close to his caliber and we'd be competing with numerous teams for a new coach. Though I do hope someone snatches up Mcmillan, I don't see how he's been much of a positive since being here and we could use an assistant who knows offense.

My wife and I drove down to Indianapolis to catch game 4. We stayed for parts of 3 days. The city was beautiful and the stadium was real comfortable (way better than our ACC in that regard). Honestly , I firmly believe than going into game 7 the Pacers had outplayed us and we were lucky not to lose in 6. You have a good future to look forward to. Best of luck next year (except when you play our Raptors of course).

Scary series, man. Indy's D was terrifying and Paul George was pulling a prime-time McGrady impression on offense. I was really worried all through that Game 7, even as we moved into the 4th quarter with that large lead (and boy did we need all of it).

Good, competitive series. As James said, best of luck next year... except against us :D

Cheers.

Gosh, just have to echo you here. We built ourselves a huge hole to dig out of, so the shove isn't really in the forefront of my mind. However, it was VERY nice to see us charging right up until the end; a big difference from our issues for most of the year where we collapsed down the stretch (like in game 5).

Clearly, a lot of work needs to be done on our collapses late, but for a season that was really predicted to have a lot of growing pains, we were exactly that, and even better than that. Hard to be disappointed when we really thought 41 games would be "best case scenario". There was a HUGE roster overhaul last season, and that takes a lot of time to figure out. I think we still have some to figure out, too.

That terrible charging foul called on PG late when he hit the shot was the most backward sack of excrement that I've ever seen! It was the difference in the game.

If you can find a deal for Stuckey I'd be willing to move him. I think he could help the Kings, Griz, and Clippers but we won't get a lot.
