Question

Post#1 » by Guzman_9 » Mon May 16, 2016 3:28 am

So I was apart of Pacers Digest and i totally forgot my password.

I ended up figuring out my password after like 30 tries.

I posted 1 regular post and got off for about an hour and went back on and it said my account was banned.

Why?

I don't know but are you sure you haven't said anything negative about Hibbert or Vogel and something positive about Bird? lol :P

I can't find the site anymore. Does anyone know if it has been taken down temporarily?

That wouldn't get anyone banned on PD. Flaming Hibbert, in particular, used to be extremely popular.

I was just kidding. I saw the firelarrybird.com and I figured that someone who thinks Vogel and Hibbert got what they deserved, wouldn't be making a website like that :P

I got my bans for different reasons and I deserved them all.

Just tried to visit it on chrome, and the site is throwing up ALL kinds of security alerts that every thread requires multiple sign-offs that I know what I'm doing and willing to risk it.

The host's opinion doesn't represent the whole site, though

Yeah, the site is in the process of moving to a new server and things are kinda out of whack right now.

By the way, Guzman I have no idea why that happened. It's possible that the process of moving the data to the other server screwed something up. Do you want me to post on PD's feedback forum about your issue?

I know, it's a very good site with respect for every opinion, pro or contra.

I just pushed the button of the host a few times. Sometimes I just need a bit of time off(line) :P

Hey, Miles was not a bust. He is a pretty good backup big. I'd love for the Pacers to have him right now.

Ike Diogu was a pretty good player on the Warriors too. That's why I wrote Pacer busts and not busts :P

I agree with all 3 sentences

Ah, I see. I don't think that Miles was a bust for us at all, though. We just never used him enough. Bird moved on from him too soon, imo.

I consider him a bust on the Pacers but I'm mostly blaming our offense back then for that. Miles needs to run and jump to be able to contribute. Our new offense would fit him much better and a creating point guard will help him more than a point guard who spreads the floor. It wasn't working and I don't think it would have worked good enough in the following years with the same type of offense.

He has improved over the years and we will run a lot more than in his rookie year, so I would definitely welcome him back :)

I understand what you're saying but it's a little hard for me to call a player that didn't even play "a bust". I reserve the bust label for the ones who play horribly not for the ones who don't play at all :P

Ya, but I'm not as nice as you and at least I didn't call him like that right after he got drafted. He wasn't exactly a popular pick :P
