Intrigued about acquiring him
to be our starting 3 because
of his shot.

He can also double as stretch 4.

If I'm not mistaken, LB also
looked to getting him some
years back.

Possible?

Who can we offer DEN in return?

Thoughts? 8-)

I think we already have a pretty good starting 3 in Paul George?

I like his game but unless Denver is in love with Rodney Stuckey I dont see a deal.

Was thinking PG would slide
over to the 2 spot if it were
to happen.

True about Stuck. What if it
were Monta (base)?

The tough part is that Gallo is worth more than any combination of players we have other than PG, Turner, and Teague, and maybe Thad.

We can't package together Monta, Stuckey, Joe, Rakeem, Jefferson, Niang, etc, in any way and net Gallo.

Unless Denver fire sells Gallo for pennies on the dollar, we can't really acquire him unless we're willing to overpay with a core player.

Gallo is one of the most overrated players in the league. Always injured and can't shoot any better than 41% from the field. Not sure he understands winning basketball.

Yeah he's always hurt and makes big money. No need for him and no way to get him sort of give up the 2017 and 2019 #1 picks with players.

Gallinari might be a nice acquisition for the Pacers, the problem is, Denver isn't in a hurry to trade him. They are deep at both guard slots and center. They are content for now at both forward slots but a good young forward would be tempting, especially a 3 pt shooter. Just not sure this trade could happen. Maybe a couple first round picks; 2018, 2020. Not sure if Indiana would pay that much.

On the other hand, Gallinari can opt out of his contract next year ...
