Shaq, Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Barkley are doing their individual top 25 players in the league. PG is of course the highest-rated Pacer and I believe all 4 of them have him in the 12-18 range. Thoughts? Fair or foul? Here's how I've always thought of it...

1-6 (not gonna debate the order, so alphabetical): Stephen Curry, Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, Russell Westbrook
7: Chris Paul
8: James Harden
9: Paul George
10: Draymond Green

Then after that in the 11-20 range where Paul has fallen is the likes of Jimmy Butler, DeMarcus Cousins, Kyrie Irving, Greek Freak, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, Marc Gasol, LaMarcus Aldridge, etc

I'm not much of a ranker of players, but I don't I can think of 10 players who I rather have than Paul George.

Being able to hit clutch jumpers and being able to play lockdown defense, suddenly matters a whole lot more in close playoff games than throughout the year when players can get there points easier with drives and free throws.

Call me crazy, but I would never prefer Westbrook or Harden over PG.
Westbrook always takes dumbs decisions and Harden lacks defensive potential and you can't win close games with passing the ball to another player. Your star player should be taking the last shot and the responsibility it carries.

Personally, I would rank Marc Gasol very high and Kyle Lowry too now.

When you need a go to guy, Dwyane Wade is still one of the most reliable out there IMO
I know it is against popular belief, but to me that's more important than triple doubles or double doubles.

ps can't go wrong with Curry, James, Durant or Leonard
David needs to be in the playoffs first for me to judge him
