Good news is we made it we're playing the Cleveland LBJ's.

Bad news Jeff Teague hurt his ankle last night. Let's hope he's able to go Saturday at 3pm, but if he can't I say we start Lance! Lance was awesome last night getting 10 reb and 6 assists. He's a great passer I love seeing him bring the ball down the floor.

It is a bit weird I must say. The Pacers had a very good player in Lance years ago, then when he was away he regressed to a degree that few teams even wanted him on their teams and now this season Pacers Lance just genuinely seems to me like an improved version of the older version. Not so much in stats(yet) but the way he reads the game today. I don't like dumb players at all, so I like this Lance version much better

Some people just need to be loved and it looks to me like the love of the Pacers crowd for Lance has turned on his personal switch to realize his full potential. His dominant personality meshes great with the personality of Paul George, who doesn't mind being a bit submissive to Lebrons, I mean others.

I have changed my mind a bit, I see potential again, baby!!
Lance might just be the perfect shield for PG to dare to challenge Lebron in a less friendly way.

I was hoping GR3 wouldve been back by now. He couldve helped defensively in defending the Cavs heavy wing rotation. Not to mention it couldve given Nate some flexibility to try to force the Cavs to matchup ala Golden State by putting five wings on the floor at once. A lineup of Lance, CJ, GR3,Paul and Thaddeus wouldve been a nightmare to matchup with; even if its only for about 6 to 7 minutes a game. Also GR3 couldve given Nate an additional defender for Lebron if Paul and Lance are in foul trouble or maybe just to free Paul or Lance up to attack the passing lanes. Just seems like the emergence of GR3 couldve caused Cleveland some serious trouble because at the very least he can be glued to any of their wing shooters and clog the passing lanes. Seems like another what if moment we can only fantasize about. What if Paul doesnt get concussed in ECF Game 2 at home against Miami in 2014? Does Indy start the series 2-0? What if the brawl at the palace (2005/06) never happened? Does Reggie get his first chip? What if Jermaine O'Neal doesnt injure his knee in Game 4 in 2003/04? Does Carlisle's wizardry of moving Croshere into the starting five get Indy the win in game 4 moving to a 3-1 commanding lead against the Pistons? Does the 2003/04 Pacers dominate the Lakers in the finals similar to the Pistons to begin a dynasty? So many what ifs...

A few thought of mine on the impending series. I think game 1 is huge. Think the Pacers have a shot to steal it from the rusty/sleep walking Cavs. If we can't steal game 1 I think it's going to be a rough week.

I'm not big on this stuff but FiveThirtyeight gives the Pacers a 41% chance of winning the series. Found that very interesting.

I don't love seeing Aaron Brooks guarding Kyrie Irving, on our side. This is what would change probably if we had GR3 back.

I say we roll out a lineup of Teague, Monta, Stephenson, and PG and order them to James Harden-flop their way towards the basket each and every time down the court.

Im disappointed by this loss. Lance or Teague should've come to get the ball immediately when they saw the double team on Paul. No way the team should be depending on CJ to create his own shot on a game winner. Myles has got to hit the weight room this summer. A couple plays come to mind that he shouldve finished on such as the Turner one on one with Irving around the free throw line (that shouldve been a post up and bucket or at least a foul) but instead ends up getting stripped and a pick and roll play where Myles attempted a layup instead of trying to dunk the ball with only RIchard Jefferson challenging him at the rim. This game was on a platter for the Pacers to win and they still found a way to lose it.

Additionally Kevin Seraphin has to lose about 20 pounds. He looks like he can be a very good player but is obviously out of shape. On a more positive note a great overall game by Lance and Paul. Could use a little more aggressive play from Teague if Nates going to live with Teague getting caught in mismatch switches against lebron; Teague should at least make Irving have to work harder on the other end by attacking him with hope of getting him into foul trouble.

I was disappointed with the out come of that one. 14 footer at the end CJ should have made it. But that's the way it is, I'd love to see the Pacers knock LBJ out of the playoffs. At least lets make them work for it.
