I like the interview he gives here. It's got some depth to his answers and doesn't have that stock answer, "coached on what to say" feel to it that I get from a lot of interviews even the young kids these days.

Sumner signed to a two way deal.
That's a good use of it/use of roster space.
The league working on it's product. Nice.

Ike now headed for Fort Wayne to get some playing time. Good move.

Any word on when Sumner could be back?

I looked at the Ant's box scores and he hasn't played at all. one game says inactive and the other three say DNP coach's decision. he and Poytress are on two-way contracts which means they can each by with the big team a maximum of 45 days. I'm assuming Poytress will head back down with GRob returns. whether Sumner is ready to come up then seems doubtful given that he hasn't had a game in Fort Wayne yet.
also, while Ike is now on the Ants, he doesn't show in the last box score so he probably arrived after their last game.

Sumner tore his ACL in January... rehab for that is around a year, sometimes even longer. Don't think he's playing yet.
He also had shoulder surgery in May, but that seems to be a smaller issue.
