Unfortunately, PG will be no better than a sidekick wherever he lands next. He's too happy-go-lucky to be a killer like Reggie or Jordan was. I'm not piling on because he wants to leave, I've just never thought he had that "IT" factor to become a true star in today's NBA.
PG was a superstar for us. Like every player, he has flaws. Not every superstar looks like Michael Jordan. Some look like Tracy McGrady or Clyde Drexler. Doesn't mean they aren't superstars. He's a top-15 player, arguably top-10. What more do you need to be a superstar? Where is the line?
Lebron
KD
Curry
Harden
Westbrook
Kawhi

Lillard
Isaiah
Kyrie
Giannis
Butler
At what point do you draw the line for "superstar?"
I do agree some stank and an edge helps on a team, but Tim Duncan did just fine letting Stephen Jackson, Bruce Bowen, and others handle that. Attitude doesn't affect performance, only perception. Just because PG doesn't FEEL like a superstar doesn't mean that he isn't a superstar.
