Would be great to get a pick for taking on some salary, but that only makes the too many bigs problem even worse.

No probemo, just trade Thad Young for a SF, I'd look at Orlando, Thad for Terrence Ross and CJ Watson, Watson is only guaranteed $1 million, Ross is $10.5 for 2 years, he's pretty inconsistent but shoots close to 40% from 3pt land.
Pacers get younger and get a SF starter get the draft pick and the big guy. Then see if we can dump Al off on someone for a nice over paid combo guard or big point guard, and we're set.
Oh Nick Young signed with the Warriors so that's not a problem now.
In a way I'd like to just keep Miles if he's not too expensive but we get a pick in the deal so I'd take it.
