Darren Collison coaches ALS Challenge

I have to admit I wasn't really familiar with The Basketball Tournament before the other day, and I definitely hadn't heard beforehand that Darren Collison was going to coach one of the teams, but in the break room of my workplace the other day one of the TVs had a basketball game on that I decided to sit down and watch because it's been since the end of the NBA season since I've seen any.

The coach of one of the teams popped up on the television, and he had a very recognizably shaped head. I'm like, "that's not Darren Collison. Is it?" A bit later I had to get back to work, and by the time I got home it wasn't on my mind at all whatever it had been that I watched on TV earlier. My thoughts were mainly of dinner and bedtime, but I did hop on the computer to check RealGM and a few other sites I frequent, and sometime during my clicking I came across a news article about it and got reminded of it. Apparently it was the championship game I had seen and the Pacers' very own (again) Darren Collison had coached the team that lost in the championship game and came in second place during that tournament. Seems the team was sponsored to help raise awareness for ALS and if they had won were even going to donate a portion of the prize money. It's got to be a neat experience for a point guard to see the game from that perspective for a bit. I'm sure a lot of people have seen this already since I didn't exactly get on the ball making a thread for it (darn you, overtime!), but I thought it was cool that it was for a good cause and that it's such a different role for him.
