Give your total wins prediction and if we make the playoffs or not.

I'll start:

33 wins and no playoffs.

We may just miss out on the lottery.

Call me an optimist but I think our young guys will improve as the season progresses. I'll say 36 wins and just miss making the payoffs.

All summer I have been saying 28 wins. But I think this team will play better together. So I will go with 31 wins and no playoffs. When we lose a point guard and power forward to injury we will drop games we should win.

If this roster was in the West, I'd say 30 max. But in the East, I'll go upwards of 35 or so and finish a couple games out of the playoffs

38 and sneak into the playoffs.

The east is really bad outside of the top 4 or so teams. You've got the Cavs, Raps, Celtics, Wizards, and probably Hornets and Bucks in. But the last 2 spots are really up for grabs and the Hornets/Bucks could falter a bit given early injury issues.

Are we really worse than the Pistons and Heat? Because I just can't see the other teams making it (Hawks, Knicks, Sixers, Nets, Bulls, Magic). We'll at the least be a lot closer than many think.

30 wins.

Turner is good, I'm kind of excited to see if Oladipo can thrive in Indiana, and I think the bench might be pretty solid. But you just can't win big with journeymen at three starting positions. (Unless your other two starters are best of the best.)

I am hoping for 38. The east is wide open at the moment. And I think we can make a go at it even without much "star power". Outside of a few teams, there aren't many stars in the East anyways.

I honestly have no clue. I can't even begin to make a prediction. I would not be surprised if it is anywhere from 25-41. I feel like I usually do. I over valued last years squad. I wish I could make a bold prediction..... I just can't put my finger on it. I will say the one thing about this team is a I really do enjoy watching them play. They play together and hard. Watching last year's squad was like going to the dentist when we won and like getting a prostate exam while at the dentist when we lost.

40 games playoffs yes

Pacers won 38 games with PG out the entire season and George Hill out half the season. Our 6 most minutes players all had a TS% between 0.500 and 0.530. Awful.

The East sucks and the Pacers also play 52 games against East teams. Our previous season was full of negative vibes coming from Paul George. This season we have our identity back. Blue collar, gold swagger. Effort and chemistry are very important to win games and this season we will have a lot more of that.

Initially I was going to say 44 wins, but if we get injuries this season, that's when we will miss Paul George and his modest level of greatness.

35 and no playoffs. I feel like I'm being overly optimistic, but hey what's the point in being a fan if you can't be a homer once in a while.

8-10 seed.

Some nice pieces that play the right way, but too young. East is reeally baad so there is a chance for playoffs, but any of the top seeds would probably sweep this team.

Years ago someone I knew well made a lot of money at a sealed bid auction bidding "$1.00 more than the next highest bid." I predict 1 game more than the next highest projection.

I just don't think PG won many games singlehandedly. I do think we need a healthy GRob but if we can start winning our share of the close games, we'll surprise.

We not only lost Paul which is an incredible down grade but we took a pretty big down grade at point guard as well. I like Turner if he were used right but IMO using Turner right means pairing him with an enforcer who can guard against post players which is something I don't see Turner ever doing well. I expect our defense to go down a notch and it was bad last year.
In the end I see no chance nor point in this team making the playoffs so I hope my 33 win projection is a high.

He did in the postseason, but I definitely agree on regular season. He has all the tools to clearly, but he got into so many bad habits during the regular season (whining, not trying on defense, chucking, etc.).

The negatives are youth, no PG, and a bunch of new guys.
The good is better effort, athleticism, and chemistry.
Max is 41. Probably 35

After watching the preseason, I think the Pacers will be better than Chicago, Atlanta, Orlando, Brooklyn, & NY.

I think they will be fighting Philly & Detroit for the 8th spot. So 36 wins.

But Miami & Milwaukee are just one key injury from dropping below the Pacers.

I really want them to win 21 at home again and keep the streak going. As for a prediction, I think they'll win 34 and miss the postseason. I just hope we're a better team in March than in November, and our young guys - Myles, Sabonis, Leaf, Anigbogu (?) - show growth throughout the season.

I'm going with 30 as well. Then depending on injuries and trades they could go plus or minus 3 games.
